Mazda rental in Honolulu, HI

The Mazda was great! Car was clean, drove great, enough room for our family and all of our gear. When we arrived at the pickup location, a staff member approached, he checked my confirmation and got us the car within 5 minutes. When we returned, he was there again and got us all set. When our flight was delayed, I messaged the host to let them know we would be running late. Communication was quick and accommodating. We would definitely rent again through this host! Thank you.

The host was easy to work with and very clear and communicative. The car gave us no trouble getting from point A to point B. What to expect: the passenger door doesn't lock/unlock when you click lock on the remote. So it has to be locked and unlocked from the inside. The trunk has to be opened from the inside as well because the original car key remote isnt used since it was broken. The body of the car is pretty rough. Dings and scratches/sun faded. The car also makes a whirring/whining noise that gets louder with speed, likely some bearing or driveline issues but did not affect the reliability of the car. Overall, happy with the car. all the above concerns are reflected in the rental price. Thank you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing experience renting this Mazda CX-5 for 5 days in Honolulu! The car was absolutely spotless and smelled brand new when I picked it up. Kulae made the whole process incredibly smooth, helpful, and full of aloha.The CX-5 was the perfect island car , very clean, spacious enough for all our beach gear, and easy to park around town. 10/10 would highly recommend renting from Kulae!

I read reviews before my scheduled trip, and managed my expectations based off it. It is a rental car at the end of the day, one that is used in beaches. It's my first time using Turo, and I do appreciate the convenience they served me. Pickup and drop off were at my hotel, amazing! They were also very responsive when we had care related questions. We safely drove to Waimea Bay, Aulani, and Lanikai with the car. Would definitely rent the same car again for the convenience alone.

My favorite car to rent from LA auto car rental. I love that its easy to rent and convenient and LA auto spot are easy to communicate with. Comfortable and easy. I have been a returning customer to this particular car each time I rent and they never disappoint. No roaches at all. Clean and the sound system in it is amazing. Easy to connect via Bluetooth and the driving it is amazing. For such a small car its versatile and i had fit my 3 of my aunties and they were comfortable in it.

The car was great. Our hosts were very informative and helpful. Turo needs better information as to where the cars are located. The international garage is a far walk from terminal 2. Other than that, it was very good. I will rent from turo again.

The car was really clean and so easy to drive—it honestly felt like we were driving our own car! The pick-up and drop-off process was super easy and convenient. We loved the car so much! The host also provided chargers, which was very helpful and important when driving around the island. This was definitely the cleanest and easiest car rental experience we’ve had. Renting the Mazda was a breeze and blast! The car is so much fun especially with the top down! Even though it is older the owners keep it in wounderful working condition. NOTE: the trunk is tiny maybe enough for 2 carry ons, I was traveling solo so if have check in bags or large equipment this isn't the car for you. The pick up and drop off process were seamless and Steve explained everything throughly to me. As a tiny sports car has a few idiosyncrasies, like where the gas cap lever is, which isn't intuitive but he took the time to explain everything out to me. Car gets wonderful gas mileage around the island. Do yourself a favor a rent this car if you want a fun time jetting around the island. NOTE: Make sure you wear sunblock if you have the top down! The Hawaii sun is no joke.
