The car was clean and performed well during our trip. However, I had a stressful experience after checkout when the host filed an inaccurate damage claim for pre-existing wear and tear. While the host eventually dropped the claim after I pointed this out, it was an unnecessary headache. I strongly recommend that future guests be extremely thorough with their 'before' and 'after' photos when renting this vehicle.
Hi Stefanica, thank you for your feedback. The vehicle was returned at night, when visibility is limited. As part of Turo policy, if any potential damage is noticed, I’m required to open a claim before closing the trip so it can be reviewed after cleaning. No charges or invoices were ever issued to you. The claim was simply documented and promptly closed once rechecked. Pre-existing wear is always clearly verified through trip photos.
