Reliable, efficient vehicles for every journey
Toyota is known worldwide for building practical, efficient, and dependable vehicles that make everyday driving easy.
From fuel-saving hybrids and comfortable sedans to versatile SUVs and capable pickup trucks, Toyota offers a vehicle for nearly every type of trip. Rent a Toyota for a reliable ride whether you’re commuting, taking a road trip, traveling for business, or need a temporary replacement vehicle.

Toyota has long been a leader in hybrid technology, making fuel-efficient driving more accessible to everyday drivers. Today, hybrid options are available across much of the lineup, including popular models like the Corolla, Camry, and RAV4. Rent a Toyota hybrid to enjoy excellent fuel economy without sacrificing comfort or practicality.
Toyota vehicles are known for their efficiency, reliability, and low operating costs. With excellent fuel economy and practical designs, a Toyota rental is a smart choice for daily driving, road trips, and longer journeys when you want dependable transportation.
Toyota is known for practicality, but many of its newer vehicles add engaging performance and modern driving dynamics. From the sporty Camry and versatile RAV4 to enthusiast favorites like the GR Supra and GR86, Toyota offers vehicles that are efficient, capable, and enjoyable behind the wheel.

Toyota has earned a reputation for building vehicles that are dependable, efficient, and easy to drive. Whether you need a fuel-saving commuter car, a comfortable SUV for a family trip, or a capable vehicle for your next adventure, a Toyota rental offers the versatility and confidence to get you where you need to go.
While pickup trucks with sedan underpinnings have been springing up lately, the Tacoma proudly sticks to its tough, traditional roots. With a ladder frame and the classic truck stuff you're looking for, this rugged truck can haul and cruise in a way the new kids can’t. Rent a four-wheel-drive Tacoma TRD model for a worry-free weekend getaway to the mountains, beach, or desert.
Excluding pickup trucks, this is America’s best-selling vehicle, and it’s easy to see why. An agreeable blend of competent handling, class-leading fuel efficiency, and useful back seat and cargo space, the Toyota RAV4 has few weaknesses as an all-around daily driver. Unique in its class, the RAV4 is also available as a hybrid, as well as a plug-in hybrid called the RAV4 Prime, which can go 42 miles on electric power alone.
Camrys have always been dependable and comfortable, but try out the current generation and you’ll find a stylish sedan with a healthy dose of agility and personality in the mix, giving the driver some enjoyment on family getaways. Its standard engine offers good performance and mileage, and this is among the last sedans to still offer a performance-boosting V6, boasting 301 horsepower. At the other end of the spectrum, the Camry Hybrid tops the class in gas mileage.

I am so glad I found this car. The Prius is great. I was also glad to meet the owners when I picked it up because I was new to this type of car, and having someone show me the features made it much easier to get started. I brought a phone holder so I could use navigation and connect my phone to the car, which was very helpful, especially if you are used to relying only on Waze. The Prius is a very comfortable car, and I was excited to try out a hybrid for the first time. Unfortunately, I didn’t have access to charging, so I couldn’t take full advantage of that feature. We also agreed with the owners that I could return the car at a different parking lot, which made it much easier for me to get to the airport. The parking lot even provided a shuttle ride to the airport, which was very convenient. I would definitely rent this car again. Overall, it was a very good experience. Yes, there were a few creaks here and there, but that’s normal for a used car that has had different drivers over time. I didn’t find anything that limited or bothered me during the trip. Thank you for a great first experience with your car & Turo.

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo.
In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that’s right for you. On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*
In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.

If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a cancellation fee.

Under the enhanced cleaning policy, hosts are required to clean and disinfect their vehicles thoroughly before every trip, so you can feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel. Turo hosts have access to training materials on enhanced cleaning practices, using the latest recommendations compiled from the CDC, EPA, WHO, and vehicle detailing experts, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
No. Unlike rental car companies, Turo is a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace where you can rent directly from trusted local car owners in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and France. Turo does not own any vehicles — Turo hosts share their own personal cars and set their own prices, discounts, vehicle availability, and delivery options.
There is no fee or additional charge for adding a driver to your trip on Turo. Only the guest who booked the trip (primary driver) can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add authorized drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress with no extra charges. The primary driver must be present to pick up the rental car.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
