Anyone in the United States can buy a gift card whether or not they’re signed up for Turo. Visit the Turo gift card page and follow the prompts to select a gift card design, choose an amount to give, and write a personalized note to the gift card recipient. You can add between $25 and $2,000 to a single gift card, but you can buy multiple gift cards at a time by adding them to your cart before placing your order. There are no extra fees or taxes beyond the gift card value.
After completing your gift card purchase, you’ll receive an email confirming your order to the email address you provided at checkout. Currently, Turo gift cards are only available digitally and are not available at retail stores or third-party merchants like Amazon.

Turo gift cards are sent digitally via email or text message as e-gift cards, rather than as physical cards. You’ll need the email address or phone number of the person you’re sending the gift card to, and you can send it instantly upon purchase for quick delivery or schedule a time for the gift card to be delivered in the future.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once the gift card has been sent, and another confirmation when the recipient views their gift card.

Turo accepts all major debit and credit cards, as well as Apple Pay, for gift card purchases. Turo does not accept cash or checks as valid payment methods.

There are multiple ways to redeem a gift card. The easiest way is to go to your Account page and tap “Redeem gift card” to copy your gift card PIN. The gift card value will be added to your travel credit balance to be used when you book your next trip.
Additionally, you can enter your gift card PIN at checkout, if you wish to save your gift card for a specific trip. Any leftover amount will remain in your travel credit balance to use towards future trips. If the trip total is more than the gift card value, the payment method you have on file will be used for the remainder.

No, Turo gift cards do not expire. Additionally, when you redeem your gift card, the value gets added to your travel credit balance, which stays in your account until you use it towards a trip.

Go to your Account page and scroll down to “Travel credit.” When you book a trip, any travel credit you have in your account will automatically apply towards the trip.

Currently, only United States residents are eligible to buy and redeem Turo gift cards. But once you’ve redeemed a gift card and the value is added to your travel credit balance, you can use your travel credit towards any trip on Turo.

You must create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you can redeem a gift card. To be eligible in the US, you must be 18 years old or older and have a valid driver’s license. Once you’ve created your account, go to your Account page and select “Get approved to drive.” You’ll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information. In most cases, you’ll get approved immediately, and you’ll be set for every future road trip, business trip, and family vacation!
