Sasha was so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our trip. I accidentally put our rental time for AM instead of PM and did not show up for the reserved pick-up time. She moved the car in a parking garage so I could still pick up the car, even though it was a very inconvenient situation for her. The car was clean and ran great.

Dom is a star. Not sure how much I can share but he will make sure you have the best experience possible. Tailored services. Excellent all around. Car was dropped-off at my address on time. The new corvette drives like a dream, excellent condition, pristine with the all new 2026 interior. Absolute head turner. Highly recommend!

Car was surprisingly cheaper than a newer civic/accord (great price) Car drove decent, squeaky breaks when pulling up to red lights but no big deal. Picking up from location was a piece of cake and dropping off was even easier.

Super accommodating, clean car exactly as pictured, great price. Thanks Diana!

The car was amazing, drove beautifully, very clean, price was perfect. Both host I met were very lovely and informative! Definitely looking forward to booking more trips with them!

Fantastic rental from start to finish. The Tesla Model 3 was in excellent condition, clean, and drove perfectly throughout the trip. Pickup and return were both quick and hassle free, making the whole experience incredibly convenient. The host was great to work with, and everything went exactly as expected. I would definitely rent from this host again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth Turo experience.
He lowered the rate for me because it was last minute reservation would book again

This was the best experience I have ever had with a vendor! From start to finish, they were incredibly courteous, professional, and genuinely kind. The car was in great condition and drove smoothly. It's rare to receive such outstanding customer service, and I truly appreciated how easy and stress-free they made the entire process. Thank you for going above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from you again and will gladly recommend you to others!

Had a great 2-day rental experience from start to finish! The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating - communication was quick and easy, pickup and drop-off were smooth, and the car was clean and ready to go right on time. You could tell they really cared about making the experience a good one. Would definitely rent from them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free rental!
My experience was 5/5. The car was beautiful and very fun to drive. Cheaper than a rental for a way nicer car. It handled 1400 miles through 4 states with no problem and Amanda was a great host. She was prompt, communicative, accommodating, and her car was literally spotless upon pickup. I’d definitely rent her car again. 😎 🚘

Highly recommend! Abbeygale was a communicative, kind host and the car was in great shape. We had a smooth trip and we can’t wait to rent again! 🫶🏻

Spanning more than 840 acres in the heart of Manhattan, Central Park offers walking trails, lakes, gardens, playgrounds, and some of the city's most recognizable scenery. It's the perfect place to escape the bustle of New York while remaining right in the center of the action.
One of the most famous landmarks in the United States, the Statue of Liberty has welcomed visitors arriving in New York Harbor for generations. Ferry services provide access to Liberty Island, where visitors can learn about the monument's history and enjoy views of the city skyline.
Known for its bright billboards, theaters, and nonstop energy, Times Square is one of New York City's most visited destinations. Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, it's a gateway to Broadway, major attractions, shopping, dining, and some of the city's most iconic views.
Driving in New York City can be very different from driving elsewhere in the United States, with busy streets, heavy traffic, and a mix of urban and highway driving throughout the region. Before setting off, it's worth understanding local parking regulations, toll roads, and a few practical tips for navigating New York City and the surrounding area.
You can avoid having to go to a rental car center with Turo. Pickup locations near John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) provide a convenient starting point for travelers arriving in New York. Before your trip, review your pickup details and location information so you know exactly where to go after landing. Pickup arrangements vary by trip, so it's worth checking your itinerary before you travel.
At the end of your trip, return the vehicle to the designated drop-off location listed in your trip details. Before heading to the airport, review the return instructions and confirm the location so you can allow enough time for your journey and departure from JFK. John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is located approximately 16 miles (26 km) southeast of Manhattan. Driving times can vary significantly depending on traffic, but journeys between JFK and Manhattan often take anywhere from 30 minutes to more than an hour. Travelers also have access to public transportation connections via the AirTrain JFK system, which links the airport with New York City's subway and commuter rail networks.
Driving in New York City is often very different from driving in other parts of the United States. Traffic can be heavy throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the surrounding boroughs, particularly during weekday morning and evening rush hours. Major routes connecting John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to the city, including the Van Wyck Expressway and Belt Parkway, are frequently busy, so allowing extra travel time is a good idea.
Drivers should also be prepared for frequent stop-and-go traffic, one-way streets, pedestrians, cyclists, and limited parking in some areas. Speed limits and traffic regulations are strictly enforced throughout New York City, and road conditions can change quickly due to weather, construction, or special events. Taking a little extra time to plan your route can make navigating the city much easier.
Parking in New York City can be challenging, particularly in busy areas of Manhattan where street parking is limited and demand is high. Many on-street spaces are metered and subject to strict parking regulations, while parking garages are widely available throughout the city. Parking is generally easier and often less expensive in parts of Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island than in the centre of Manhattan, though availability can still vary depending on the neighborhood and time of day.
Yes, many bridges, tunnels, and major roadways serving the New York City area charge tolls. Depending on where you're driving, you may encounter tolls when traveling between boroughs, crossing into New Jersey, or exploring destinations outside the city. Most tolls are collected electronically, so it's worth checking how toll charges are handled for your rental car before setting off.
Gas stations are available throughout the New York City area, although they can be less common in Manhattan than in outer boroughs such as Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. EV charging infrastructure is also expanding rapidly, with chargers located at public parking garages, shopping centers, hotels, and other convenient locations throughout the city. Drivers of electric vehicles should plan charging stops ahead of time, especially when traveling beyond New York City or during peak holiday periods when charging stations may be busier than usual.
Renting a car can be a convenient way to explore destinations beyond Manhattan and the wider New York City area. While public transportation can work well within the city, a car rental gives you the flexibility to travel on your own schedule, whether you're heading to Long Island, upstate New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or other destinations beyond Kennedy International Airport. If you're looking for JFK car rental options, having your own vehicle can make traveling between attractions, hotels, and neighboring states significantly easier than relying solely on the subway, taxis, or rideshares.
Rental car options in New York City include everything from compact cars and fuel-efficient hybrids to luxury vehicles, SUVs, sports cars, and larger family-friendly options. Depending on availability, you may find a premium luxury SUV for the whole family, a premium luxury sedan for style, or even larger vehicles such as a limo van. Popular choices often include the Ford Mustang, Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Porsche Cayenne, Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, and other vehicle classes suited to everything from city driving to longer road trips throughout the Northeast.
The cost of car rental in New York City can vary depending on car type, booking length, extras, and delivery. For cheap car rentals in New York City, look out for discounts on longer-duration bookings and early bookings.
