Even if you navigate solely with the Model 3's touchscreen, you'll want your phone to stay charged to keep in contact with friends and loved ones. You can plug your iPhone or Android into any of the four USB ports and wrestle with cords... or take advantage of the convenient wireless charging spot. Fighting over the charger is a thing of the past, too, with two charging spots that can work in tandem.
Step aside, smart locks and smart lights: the Model 3 is a truly smart car. Download the Tesla app to your smartphone to control your EV from the palm of your hand. Preheat your Tesla during snowy winters, plan the perfect stops to charge your vehicle anywhere from San Francisco to New England, and start your car all without setting foot inside it.
A Tesla rental can net you as much as 510 horsepower, making the Model 3 great for city and highway driving alike. If your rental comes with accessories, lower the risk of accidents with accessories like the optional carbon fiber spoiler for better stability at high speeds, or add to the convenient Pet Mode with a pet liner built in just for the Model 3.
Top ratings from Car and Driver, Edmunds, and more help this EV stand out from the rest of Tesla's fleet. This modern sedan comes equipped standard with stability control, a collision warning system, and Tesla app compatibility for the most convenient Tesla car rental you can find. Top off your battery with more than 160 miles on a single 15-minute charge at any Tesla Supercharger to get back on the road with no hassle.

See more than in any other sedan with Tesla's 360-degree acoustic glass. Keep a better eye on the road ahead, or let your passengers take in the sights the sky has to offer. Don't worry about cabin noise, either—the unique properties of Tesla's acoustic glass keep your ride whisper-quiet so that you can focus on what matters most.
There's more to the Model 3 than just on and off. Acceleration modes grant you control over just how quickly you accelerate, creating a tailored ride. Make your trip smooth and worry-free with Chill mode, or shift into Insane mode on Performance Model 3s to satisfy any need for speed. Sentry mode monitors your EV's surroundings for potential safety hazards, while Camp mode keeps climate control and entertainment options powered on for the best adventures possible. And of course, Pet mode keeps your furry friends safe when you have to make a quick stop.
Ventilated seats and a dual-zone climate control system keep you and your passengers cool no matter how high the temperature climbs. The heated steering wheel and seats offer wintertime comfort. Factor in the Tesla app with remote start and cabin preconditioning for maximum comfort whether you're on a drive or just about to start one.

Great experience. Car was clean . The host is amazing. Definitely will rent again.

The quality of the car. the car ran great on the road trip to the Bay Area. Little surprise by the aesthetics of the exterior of the vehicle because in the picture it doesn’t show the damages, but the exterior of the car was not my need. I needed a car that ran great in the car ran good. The host was communicative and easy to communicate with and very accommodating I would rent this vehicle again for a road trip. The body damage would not keep me from re-renting this vehicle but if you’re looking for a car that looks pristine on the exterior, this is not your car.

Everything was great. Easy communication and clean car was my second time in a Tesla and it was a very smooth drive and experience

Thanks again for being a great host. The Tesla was clean, easy to access, and exactly as described. I’d definitely rent from you again.

Great experience! Tony was an excellent host—communicative, friendly, and professional. The Tesla Model 3 Performance was extremely clean, fully tinted, and equipped with long-range AWD and FSD, which made driving effortless. The car looked and felt brand-new. I’d absolutely rent from Tony again. Highly recommend!

Adam was absolutely incredible, start to finish. This was hands down one of the best rental experiences I’ve ever had, not just on Turo, but anywhere. The Tesla was spotless, perfectly maintained, and exactly as described, if not better. Everything worked flawlessly, and the car itself was such a smooth, fun drive. What really set this apart though was Adam. He went above and beyond in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. He took the time to walk me through the car, gave helpful tips, and made sure I was completely comfortable before I even started my trip. Especially since it was my first time driving a Tesla. Communication was fast, clear, and super easy the entire time. Pickup and drop-off were seamless. No stress, no confusion, just a really well-run operation. If you’re even considering booking this car, don’t think twice. Adam does everything right and then some. I will 100% be renting from him again.
Super helpful and communicative. He let me park my vehicle in front of his house so I can drive home after car return. 5 stars!

Omg such an amazing car ! Can’t wait to book again soon ! Host was amazing !

Renting with Coco was great! Communicative host helped with all the questions I had at the time. First time renting a electric car was a good experience just that you get a invoice after your trip and pay for whatever charge you used during the trip different than when you rent a gas vehicle you can take care of the gas right then and there. I would rent again thank you so much Coco!
Great car, convenient location, and an easy host to work with. Would rent again!

Amazing host amazing car will definitely use his services again … Very professional responses quick and there for you the whole time Thx again
First time with a electric i kinda like very nice car guy was wonderful will use again try guys it works

Tesla vehicles make for unique driving experiences, and the Model 3 is no exception. Here are some tips for making the most of your electric vehicle rental.
- Keep an eye out for Superchargers, or use the EV's navigation function to find the nearest one to you, especially on long trips.
- Superchargers can give your vehicle more than 150 miles in just 15 minutes.
- Fold down the rear seats for extra room in the trunk.
- Test out the drive modes to find the one that works best for you.
The cost of a Model 3 car rental can vary depending on the model variant, booking length, extras, and delivery. For a cheap Model 3 rental, look out for potential discounts on longer-duration bookings and early bookings.

In the UK, you must be 21 years old or older and have held a UK or EU license for at least one year, or another driver’s license for at least two years. In France you must be 18 years old or older and have held a driver’s license for at least 2 years, longer for certain makes and models of vehicles.
When you’re booking your first trip, you’ll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information. In most cases, you’ll get approved immediately, and you’ll be set for all future road trips, day trips, and business trips!
Turo accepts valid licenses (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allow for full driving privileges; this includes driver’s licenses issued outside of the US. Licenses that Turo doesn’t accept in the US include any that have expired, have been altered, are conditional, probational, provisional, or restricted. Learner’s permit/instruction permits are not accepted.

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo.
In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that’s right for you. On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*
In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.

Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you’ll need to check on each rental car individually to see if this service is provided. On the vehicle pages, you’ll see the total miles or kilometres you’re allowed to drive under the heading “Distance included.” You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the “Unlimited distance” filter.
Yes, multiple guests can drive the car you rent on Turo, as long as they are all approved to drive. The primary driver (whoever rented the car) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
* Any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland, but this protects your own wallet. In the US, liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.
For questions or information about the third party liability insurance for trips in the US, consumers in Maryland and the licensed states listed here may contact Turo Insurance Agency at (415) 508-0283 or claims@turo.agency. For questions about how damage to a host’s vehicle is handled, visit the Turo Support site. When a trip is booked in the state of Washington, physical damage to the host’s vehicle is covered by insurance purchased by Turo, but the Turo insurance does not change the contractual responsibilities of hosts or guests with respect to physical damage to a host’s vehicle.
