Need to juice up quickly between plans? The Ioniq 5’s ultra-fast charging gets you from 10% to 80% in under 20 minutes. With up to 318 miles of range on top-tier models, it’s a top choice if you prioritize saving time at charging stations.
The Ioniq 5’s dual 12.3” displays make it easy to control navigation, music, and vehicle settings without the learning curve. Smooth one-pedal driving simplifies city traffic, while features like lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control work quietly in the background to keep things effortless.
With its flat floor and long wheelbase design, the Ioniq 5 offers a lounge-like feel that's more spacious than it appears. On certain trims, added features like the sliding center console and reclining front seats with built-in footrest give an added touch of luxury.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5's most outstanding features, like its sleek design and super-fast charging, are just the beginning of all the benefits it has to offer. It's the little details (like its well-thought-out interior tech and ample space) that keep every trip smooth and stress-free. Whether you're heading out of town or trying before you purchase, it delivers just the right mix of style and smarts for any journey.

Forget long stops — the Ioniq 5’s ultra-fast charging zaps the battery from 10% to 80% in just about 20 minutes. Whether you’re powering up for a weekend getaway or charging up between errands, the speed keeps you moving without the wait.
Tired of constant brake tapping while you're in stop-start city traffic? With the i-Pedal system, one pedal controls your speed by smoothly blending acceleration and regenerative braking. It makes heavy traffic less tiring, and you can focus more on your plans for the day.
The Ioniq 5 conveniently doubles as a portable power station on certain trims, so you won't have low battery anxiety while you're on the go. Plug in your camping gear, charge laptops, or keep small appliances running — ideal for outdoor adventures or emergency backup power when you need it most.

Never driven an Ioniq 5 before? These tips will have you cruising like a pro in this practical, everyday EV.
- Unlocking and starting: The door handles will pop out slightly when you unlock the car, and you can pull on them to open the door. Press the brake and tap the Start button to get going.
- Charging fast: Make use of the Ioniq 5 ultra-fast charging to save time — 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes at 800V DC ultra-fast charging stations.
- Range tips: Activate “Eco” mode and use i-Pedal (which uses regenerative braking) for one-pedal driving to stretch your range.
- Get to know the dimensions: It’s roomier than it looks. The long wheelbase offers comfort, but makes it trickier to get into tight parking spots. Make use of the 360-degree camera to make things easier.
- Get to know the touchscreen: Nearly everything runs through the dual 12.3-inch screens. Set up things like phone connectivity, climate, and navigation here.
- Cargo and cabin: Rear seats slide and recline, and there’s bonus space in the frunk. USB-C ports and wireless charging on certain trims keep everyone powered up.
The best Hyundai to rent depends on your plans. The Ioniq 5 offers fast charging for modern EV travel and a surprisingly spacious interior for its mid-size class. The Hyundai Elantra is a fuel-efficient and city-friendly sedan. For big group travel, the Tucson or Santa Fe deliver better space and flexibility.
Forget about troublesome visits to a regular car rental dealer, and book a Hyundai on the Turo app. You'll find a wide variety of vehicle options at competitive rates.
The cost of Ioniq 5 car rental can vary depending on the model variant, booking length, extras, and delivery. For cheap Ioniq 5 rental, look out for potential discounts on longer-duration bookings and early bookings.

To rent a car on Turo, you must create a Turo account, have a valid driver’s license, get approved to drive on Turo, and be 18 years old or older in the US, 21 years old or older in Australia, or 23 years old or older in Canada.
In the UK, you must be 21 years old or older and have held a UK or EU license for at least one year, or another driver’s license for at least two years. In France you must be 18 years old or older and have held a driver’s license for at least 2 years, longer for certain makes and models of vehicles.
When you’re booking your first trip, you’ll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information. In most cases, you’ll get approved immediately, and you’ll be set for all future road trips, day trips, and business trips!
Turo accepts valid licenses (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allow for full driving privileges; this includes driver’s licenses issued outside of the US. Licenses that Turo doesn’t accept in the US include any that have expired, have been altered, are conditional, probational, provisional, or restricted. Learner’s permit/instruction permits are not accepted.

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo.
In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that’s right for you. On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*
In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.

Yes there is — whether you want to rent a car for three days, three months, or even longer, you can on Turo. You’ll find discounted prices on bookings lasting 3+, 7+, or 30+ days, so you can get the best deals and lowest rates possible by booking longer trips.
Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you’ll need to check on each rental car individually to see if this service is provided. On the vehicle pages, you’ll see the total miles or kilometres you’re allowed to drive under the heading “Distance included.” You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the “Unlimited distance” filter.
Yes, multiple guests can drive the car you rent on Turo, as long as they are all approved to drive. The primary driver (whoever rented the car) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
* Any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland, but this protects your own wallet. In the US, liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.
For questions or information about the third party liability insurance for trips in the US, consumers in Maryland and the licensed states listed here may contact Turo Insurance Agency at (415) 508-0283 or claims@turo.agency. For questions about how damage to a host’s vehicle is handled, visit the Turo Support site. When a trip is booked in the state of Washington, physical damage to the host’s vehicle is covered by insurance purchased by Turo, but the Turo insurance does not change the contractual responsibilities of hosts or guests with respect to physical damage to a host’s vehicle.
