Enjoy the great outdoors in style

Drive a Bronco

With removable door and roof panels, the Ford Bronco is built to bring the outdoors closer — from winding backroads to laid-back campsite weekends, this rugged SUV adapts to your plans. With flexible features like a dashboard rack for optional gear or camera mounts, it's ready to capture your adventure — or simply help you enjoy the ride, no extra gadgets required.

Rent a Bronco on Turo in whichever configuration best suits your needs for a taste of freedom. The four-cylinder model with automatic transmission gives you extra mileage, whereas the V-6 adds strength and speed. Four-wheel drive and an independent front suspension system make for smooth rides to pick up loved ones or tackle steep mountain roads on the way out of town.

Rugged suspension

Ford includes variations of its High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) System in every model to give you the smoothest drive possible. From the HOSS 1.0 system in the base model to HOSS 4.0 with FOX™ Live Valve 3.1 Internal Bypass Semi-Active Dampers that the Raptor® features, this separate front suspension mitigates turbulence no matter the condition of the road ahead of you.

Durability that doesn't sacrifice comfort

As one of Ford's flagship outdoor vehicles, the Bronco has a reputation for durability. Marine-grade vinyl makes for easy cleaning along with the drain-equipped floors, perfect for any adventure that Mother Nature might interrupt. Heated seats and a heated steering wheel keep you and your passengers toasty even during the harshest winters.

Sasquatch is real

Standard on the Stroppe and Heritage editions and available for all rental Broncos other than the Raptor®, Ford's Sasquatch™ package adds height and durability to an already tough ride. Its 35-inch tires are meant for rugged terrain to give grip even on rainy freeways. A ground clearance of 11.5 inches virtually eliminates any chances of bottoming out. Locking differentials round out the package for maximum torque.

Travel in power with a Bronco

The Bronco handles every bit as well as its contemporaries, providing responsive controls alongside the powerful turbocharged engine choices. When you want to navigate around narrow city streets or rev up your drive on the highway, a Ford Bronco rental will have you roaring around town in no time.

Removable door and roof panels

Let's be real here: The Ford Bronco is made for being outdoors, and not just because of its engine. Stow the roof panel for a gorgeous view of the wide-open sky, or pull off the doors alongside it and feel the wind whip through your hair during your adventures.

Retro or modern: your choice

Ford offers the Bronco in nine basic colors along with special-edition trims. Pick an Oxford White, Carbonized Gray, or Shadow Black vehicle to explore with, or go wild with Eruption Green and Ruby Red Metallic. Want a throwback design? Look at the Free Wheeling trim, offered as a variation on the Big Bend model just above the base version, complete with '70s-style multicolor stripes that will have you feeling like everything's just groovy.

GOAT modes

Ford offers the Goes Over Any Terrain system for added safety and better handling. Choose from settings that include an eco mode for fuel conservation and a slippery mode for rainy days. The Ford Bronco puts even more choices in your hands so that you can make the most out of your adventures while staying safe. Remember, off-roading is a prohibited use on Turo.

Seamless experience! Great car! I rented the Bronco to bridge the gap between my lease return and the arrival of my new car. My host (Kemal) was fantastic and walked me through the whole process. Would definitely use Turo again!

In the UK, you must be 21 years old or older and have held a UK or EU license for at least one year, or another driver’s license for at least two years. In France you must be 18 years old or older and have held a driver’s license for at least 2 years, longer for certain makes and models of vehicles.

What kind of license do I need to rent a car on Turo?

Turo accepts valid licenses (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allow for full driving privileges; this includes driver’s licenses issued outside of the US. Licenses that Turo doesn’t accept in the US include any that have expired, have been altered, are conditional, probational, provisional, or restricted. Learner’s permit/instruction permits are not accepted.

How does car rental insurance work on Turo?

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo.

In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that’s right for you. On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*

In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.

On the vehicle pages, you’ll see the total miles or kilometres you’re allowed to drive under the heading “Distance included.” You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the “Unlimited distance” filter.

Can other people drive the car that I rented?

Yes, multiple guests can drive the car you rent on Turo, as long as they are all approved to drive. The primary driver (whoever rented the car) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.

To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.

  1. * Any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland, but this protects your own wallet. In the US, liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.

  2. For questions or information about the third party liability insurance for trips in the US, consumers in Maryland and the licensed states listed here may contact Turo Insurance Agency at (415) 508-0283 or claims@turo.agency. For questions about how damage to a host’s vehicle is handled, visit the Turo Support site. When a trip is booked in the state of Washington, physical damage to the host’s vehicle is covered by insurance purchased by Turo, but the Turo insurance does not change the contractual responsibilities of hosts or guests with respect to physical damage to a host’s vehicle.
