Make a Ford Expedition your premium SUV rental for camping and beach trips. More than 100 cubic feet of cargo room means you can take the whole family with you. Opt to rent a Ford Expedition EL with a longer wheelbase for space to rival even the GMC Yukon XL and Chevy Suburban.
Ford doesn't sacrifice power in this full-size SUV rental, either, combining plenty of room with a 3.5-liter V-6 that can put out a hefty 400 horsepower. Heavier loads are no problem with an engine upgrade for 440 horsepower, along with the standard independent rear suspension. Rent a Ford Expedition on Turo for a premium SUV rental experience.

Whether you're hitting an age-old dirt road in a national park or making your way across Route 66 for your SUV rental journey, you're bound to run into some rough roads at some point. The independent rear suspension system on the Ford Expedition allows every wheel to move up and down independently for maximum road contact, keeping your passengers safe and more comfortable than ever before.
Need room to bring home a new TV or pack away an extra-large tent for your weekend camping ritual? The Ford Expedition has you covered with a power-folding third row for plenty of room in this full-size SUV. The center console joins in on the action with a sliding function. Keep it forward for added storage, or push it back to give the second row easy access. An EL rental features even more space with the extra-long drivetrain.
Twenty-four inches of panoramic screen real estate lets you configure this large SUV rental to keep the most important info at eye level. Keep an eye on your speed, get directions to your next destination, or double-check what tunes are going; it's all there with a quick glance, letting you keep your focus on the road ahead.
A Ford Expedition rental offers a generous amount of seating and storage, perfect for road trips and family vacations. Keep it close to home, take the fam tailgating for your favorite team, or enjoy the serenity of nature. The Expedition gives you a full-size SUV that can do it all.

An Expedition SUV rental offers you the cabin space of a Chevy Suburban rental with the convenience of a pickup truck's bed in the multi-function Ford split gate. Open the powered top gate and toss in a tote and a cooler for all the refreshments you can handle before the big game. Power open the lower gate for larger items like home decor or sporting goods. It's the best of both worlds, ready for your next expedition.
Tailgating is a classic American pastime for a reason, and Ford knows it's a favorite of families and friends alike. That's why they've made it even better with a versatile tailgate manager available for your SUV rental. Set up a hot dog condiment station in shelf mode, enjoy pregame or post-hike meals in table mode, or get some support with backrest mode.
Forget finding places to hang old camping lanterns or searching for the brightest streetlight possible. Instead, enjoy after-dark adventures with the Ford Expedition's 360-degree zone lighting vehicle feature. Select Expedition models illuminate your surroundings from the headlamps, grille, and roof rails to the liftgate and spoiler. Car group expeditions never have to end just because the sun goes down.

Ford's premium SUV offers more cargo space than most vehicles in its class, but there's more to it than that. Before making an Expedition your next SUV rental, consider these tips.
- The Expedition's safety suite includes Ford BlueCruise from the 2021 vehicle model year on. This feature lets the full-size SUV pilot itself hands-free in select highway zones. A driver-facing camera makes sure your eyes stay on the road just in case, but your Expedition SUV rental can speed up, slow down, and even change lanes all on its own with BlueCruise.
- The sliding center console doesn't just give you storage—it can help keep your goods secure, too. Going to a concert with a strict bag policy or a classified movie screening? Slide the console of your Expedition rental back to reveal storage for your valuables, and then, push it forward so that nobody's the wiser.
- Stay online with the Ford Connectivity Package. Add it to your large SUV rental for built-in Wi-Fi to keep up to 10 devices connected, along with streaming options like MAX and Peacock to keep passengers entertained.
The cost of an Expedition car rental can vary depending on the model variant, booking length, extras, and delivery. For a cheap Expedition rental, look out for potential discounts on longer-duration bookings and early bookings.

In the UK, you must be 21 years old or older and have held a UK or EU license for at least one year, or another driver’s license for at least two years. In France you must be 18 years old or older and have held a driver’s license for at least 2 years, longer for certain makes and models of vehicles.
When you’re booking your first trip, you’ll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information. In most cases, you’ll get approved immediately, and you’ll be set for all future road trips, day trips, and business trips!
Turo accepts valid licenses (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allow for full driving privileges; this includes driver’s licenses issued outside of the US. Licenses that Turo doesn’t accept in the US include any that have expired, have been altered, are conditional, probational, provisional, or restricted. Learner’s permit/instruction permits are not accepted.
To rent a car on Turo in the US, you must be 18 years old or older.
No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo.
In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that’s right for you. On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*
In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.
You can get discounts and low cost car rental on Turo.
On your Account page, make sure you’ve checked the box to receive email notifications, and enable push notifications from the Turo app in your phone settings — we’ll send you occasional promo codes, discounts, and deals.

Yes there is — whether you want to rent a car for three days, three months, or even longer, you can on Turo. You’ll find discounted prices on bookings lasting 3+, 7+, or 30+ days, so you can get the best deals and lowest rates possible by booking longer trips.
Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you’ll need to check on each rental car individually to see if this service is provided. On the vehicle pages, you’ll see the total miles or kilometres you’re allowed to drive under the heading “Distance included.” You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the “Unlimited distance” filter.
Yes, multiple guests can drive the car you rent on Turo, as long as they are all approved to drive. The primary driver (whoever rented the car) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
* Any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland, but this protects your own wallet. In the US, liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.
For questions or information about the third party liability insurance for trips in the US, consumers in Maryland and the licensed states listed here may contact Turo Insurance Agency at (415) 508-0283 or claims@turo.agency. For questions about how damage to a host’s vehicle is handled, visit the Turo Support site. When a trip is booked in the state of Washington, physical damage to the host’s vehicle is covered by insurance purchased by Turo, but the Turo insurance does not change the contractual responsibilities of hosts or guests with respect to physical damage to a host’s vehicle.
