Great car and service. High end car for the price. Pro tip; the 86 bus from Ala Moana goes past the end of the road.

Vincenzo’s Audi was excellent — super clean, smooth ride, and exactly as described. Pickup and drop-off were easy, and Vincenzo was communicative, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire trip. Great experience overall and would definitely rent again. Highly recommend!

Pick up was great! Car was spotless. Handled great, brakes and tires were great on the roads as well as handling in the rain. Devin was very responsive with any questions and even gave us a suggestion for closest gas station.
Koa is the best! Clean cars and great communication. No bs which I really appreciate. I will refer to friends with confidence. Mahalo🌺☀️🤙

Marvin was very accommodating. The car is exactly as advertised. Will rent again if the need arises.
Derek made the trip really smooth and easy to communicate with. Gave clear instructions and made my first Turo experience a great one ! Recommend anyone that needs a car for the island to book.
Works good. Old but served its purpose. Seat covers and the hard floor mats were a nice touch. Trunk is a bit hard to make sure it latches. Rear camera is a nice touch. Car has lots of minor scratches and dents. Take pictures. Would rent from again. Thanks for the great communication.

I flew home for a graduation. One thing I can say is, this car is GREAT on gas! Note; When picking up the car, the driveway is a little steep. Just go slow, and pull it out at an angle to avoid scraping the front bumper.
The car is awesome, and Kendall was super communicative and kind. Overall 10/10 experience

Awesome experience! Good customer service, communication and vehicle in great condition. Will rent from Koa again! Mahalo!
Thank you for allowing and trusting me with your car. Thank you and appreciate it. I will definitely be renting with you again and recommend you to my friends. Aloha

Very very pleased with the beautiful BMW! The ride was smooth and comfortable! Thank you Micah for the quick delivery service! I was stuck at work with no ride and on top of that the car was accidentally booked for next day, but Micah helped arrange drop off asap…I was sooo happy! 😊 Mahalo!
Fontaine was an amazing Turo Host. Car is great! Very clean. Very easy drop off and pick up.

Loved this car. Easy to drive. Don’t expect to fit much luggage but great to get around. Easy pick up and drop off.
Great communication from start to finish. Would 100% recommend. Car was spotless when I pick it up, figuring out how to hook my phone up to the media system was easy. Great gas mileage. I had to extend my trip at the last minute and had no problem extending my time! The car ran smoothly and I had absolutely no issues! If you want to rent a car I would recommend this one.
Great host! Clear pick up instructions and prompt communication. John was very understanding when we had to change our trip due to unforeseen weather conditions. The car was great and economical.

Koa was super, nice and thorough. He made the pick up drop off super easy. The car was very clean and everything worked as it should. Great communication by the host. I would definitely use him again and refer him to my family or friends. This beats the big rental companies hands down.

The pickup and return process was super easy and convenient. I felt extremely comfortable using the car. Kevin was a great communicator and I would absolutely rent this car from him again in the future!

When booking a rental car in Kaneohe, consider these tips: Reserve early on Turo for the best selection, especially during peak seasons. Choose a vehicle that suits your plans, whether it's a compact car for city exploration or an SUV for off-road adventures. Look for extras like GPS navigation, beach gear, or child seats if needed. Opt for a vehicle with good fuel efficiency to save on gas while exploring the island. Remember to check for features like backup cameras or Apple CarPlay for added convenience during your Hawaiian adventure.
Kaneohe offers several convenient pickup locations for rental cars. Guests can find hosts on Turo offering vehicles near popular areas like Windward Mall or Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center. When choosing a pickup spot, consider proximity to your accommodation or planned activities. Some hosts on Turo may offer delivery to your location, which can be especially convenient if you're staying in Kaneohe. Keep in mind the beautiful surroundings of Kaneohe, such as the lush Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden or the scenic Heeia State Park, when planning your rental car pickup. It's important to communicate clearly with your host about the exact pickup location and any specific instructions. Remember to review the vehicle details and protection plan options before finalizing your booking made on Turo to ensure a smooth start to your Kaneohe adventure.
Kaneohe offers breathtaking driving routes that showcase Hawaii's natural splendor. The Kamehameha Highway provides a stunning coastal journey, winding along the eastern shore of Oahu. As you drive, you'll be treated to views of turquoise waters and lush mountains. Another scenic option is the Pali Highway, which cuts through the Ko'olau mountain range, offering panoramic vistas of Kaneohe and beyond. For a more leisurely experience, consider exploring the backroads around He'eia State Park, where you can admire taro fields and fishponds. Remember to respect local traffic laws and take breaks at designated viewpoints to fully appreciate the island's beauty.
Navigating peak hour traffic in Kaneohe requires some local know-how. To avoid congestion, consider adjusting your travel times if possible, leaving earlier in the morning or later in the evening. Utilize alternate routes, such as Kahekili Highway or Likelike Highway, which can sometimes be less crowded than the main thoroughfares. Stay informed about current traffic conditions by tuning into local radio stations or using navigation apps that provide real-time updates. When driving in Kaneohe during busy periods, practice patience and aloha spirit. Remember that some areas, like the Windward Mall vicinity, can get particularly busy, so plan accordingly. By being flexible with your schedule and route choices, you can make your Kaneohe driving experience more enjoyable.
For exploring Kaneohe and Hawaii's diverse landscapes, versatile vehicles are ideal. An SUV offers excellent ground clearance and comfort, perfect for navigating both city streets and rural roads. If you're planning beach trips, a car with four-wheel drive can handle sandy parking areas with ease. For couples or solo travelers, a compact car might suffice for urban areas and provide better fuel efficiency. However, if you're venturing to more remote locations or planning to tackle some of Hawaii's mountain roads, a vehicle with more power and stability is advisable. Consider your itinerary and the terrain you'll encounter when selecting your ideal car for Kaneohe adventures.
Kaneohe offers various parking options for visitors exploring popular areas. The Windward Mall provides ample free parking, making it a convenient base for shopping or dining in the area. For those visiting Kaneohe Bay, there are several beach parks with designated parking lots, such as He'eia State Park and Kaneohe Beach Park. When exploring the town center, you'll find street parking available, but be sure to observe posted time limits. Some local businesses also offer customer parking. If you're planning to visit during peak times or special events, consider arriving early to secure a spot. Always respect local parking regulations and be mindful of residential areas where parking may be restricted.
Driving in Kaneohe requires adaptability to changing weather conditions. During sudden rain showers, which are common in this lush part of Oahu, reduce your speed and increase your following distance. Be cautious of potential flash floods on low-lying roads. When the sun is shining brightly, use sunglasses to combat glare, especially when driving along coastal routes. In misty conditions, which can occur in higher elevations, use your low-beam headlights and drive slowly. Always check your vehicle's tires and wipers before setting out. If you encounter strong winds, particularly on exposed roads or bridges, maintain a firm grip on the steering wheel. By staying alert and adjusting your driving to the conditions, you'll ensure a safer journey around Kaneohe.
Planning a road trip from Kaneohe to other parts of Oahu is an exciting way to explore the island. Start by mapping out your route and key destinations. Consider a circular island tour, heading north towards the North Shore, then around to the west coast, and back through central Oahu. Pack essentials like water, snacks, and a physical map as a backup. Plan for frequent stops at scenic viewpoints and beaches along the way. Be mindful of your fuel levels, as some rural areas have fewer gas stations. Allow extra time for unexpected discoveries or traffic. Remember that some popular spots, like Hanauma Bay, require advance reservations. By balancing planned stops with flexibility, your Kaneohe-based road trip can offer a comprehensive Oahu experience.
Driving in Kaneohe's urban areas differs significantly from navigating its rural backroads. In town, expect more traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and lower speed limits. Urban driving requires heightened awareness of other vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians. Rural backroads, on the other hand, often feature narrow lanes, fewer street lights, and occasionally unpaved sections. These roads may have unexpected turns and limited visibility around bends. Wildlife encounters are more common on rural routes, so stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk. While urban areas offer more amenities like gas stations and parking, rural drives provide scenic vistas and a more relaxed pace. Adjust your driving style accordingly, maintaining appropriate speeds and being prepared for varying road conditions in both settings.
Kaneohe has several reliable options for refueling your vehicle. Along Kamehameha Highway, which runs through the heart of Kaneohe, you'll find multiple gas stations conveniently located. The area near Windward Mall is particularly well-served, with stations situated for easy access before or after shopping. For those exploring the outskirts of Kaneohe, there are fuel options along Kahekili Highway as you head towards the North Shore. It's advisable to keep your tank at least half full, especially if you're planning trips to more remote areas of the island. Most stations in Kaneohe offer self-service pumps and accept major credit cards. Remember to check your vehicle's fuel requirements and fill up accordingly to ensure a smooth driving experience around Hawaii.
