We had an excellent experience! The car was clean, reliable, and drove perfectly throughout our trip in Alaska. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive from beginning to end, making the entire rental process smooth and stress-free. Overall this vehicle completely met our needs for our Alaska visit. Very cost effective compared to a similar vehicle rental price from the regular car rental places. We had our trip start time for 1:30pm and while the vehicle was not at the airport ready for us at 1:30, they had it there shortly after that and it worked to just meet us outside baggage claim, which was convenient and really did not delay us much. Two things we noticed - the vehicle is overdue for an alignment; the wheel needs to be held left to keep straight and while this didn’t impact our experience it should be addressed. Also, the backup camera is permanently blurry even after we tried to wipe it off thinking it was just wet/dirty. The car was delivered to us very clean, full of gas, and the host was very communicative. Returning at the airport garage was simple and convenient. I would rent from this host again.

Taylor was wonderful to work with, she was so kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful during our stay. She made the whole process easy from start to finish. Car was as advertised and for our purposely perfectly. Was very responsive to texts and dropped off/picked up the car at spots that were convenient to us. Of note, there is no trunk space for bags and the seats don’t go down, but he was kind enough to offer to meet and take out the back row of seats if we needed. Would absolutely rent from him again.

This was our first time using Turo and it was a breeze with the help of Kiril. Great communication and he was on top of all questions. The car did have dings and scratches (I didn’t care) but wasn’t represented in the online photos- I just made sure to document in them in the pre inspection. I rent from main stream car rental companies for work so there’s slight paranoia about getting accused of making those scratches or chips in the windshield. But no issues when returning and the car got us from point A to B just fine. 100% recommend and we’ll be renting from Kiril next time we’re in AK!
Host gave clear instructions. Van was as described and served our purpose well. We appreciated having a cup and phone holder. He went above and beyond to provide car seats for the kids. He was also very friendly and responded promptly. Thank you so much for a great trip.
Mark was a terrific host, and the car worked great! He was extremely communicative, and when I had questions, he was prompt to answer, even if it was late at night. I saw a low review on here because of the car alarm, but as long as you lock it from the outside and not the inside, it won’t go off, so do not let those negative reviews deter you from renting this car! I would totally rent from Mark again on my next trip to Alaska :)
