Renting a car enhances your Alaskan adventure by giving you the freedom to explore beyond the seaplane base, navigate Anchorage's diverse neighborhoods, and venture into the surrounding wilderness areas that define this remarkable northern destination.

Logistics were great except the car was a $25 trip from airport. Price of rental smoothed this over.

Great car! Clean, reliable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made the rental process easy. Would definitely rent again.

Amazing rental! Process was super smooth for Check in/out. Isaac was super responsive to any questions I had in prep for the trip. Car was very clean and easy to drive. We had a few hours of rain on our adventures and the car handled great. Would definitely recommend renting this vehicle from this host!!! Thank you Isaac!
Fantastic. Turo is a great service. Anyone looking to rent a car should take this into consideration

Sara is a very pleasant and vert welcoming host. Pick up and drop off without any problems. Clean and unproblematic car. I can recommend Sara's VW to everybody wanting to travel through Alaska independently. I would surely rent a car from Sara again. Thanks a lot for your hospitality, Sara !

Nick made the entire rental process smooth and straightforward. He was there for pickup and dropoff, walked through everything clearly, and his relaxed demeanor put us at ease right away. The Prius was reliable and easy to drive, with plenty of room for gear, which was perfect for exploring the amazing sites around Anchorage without worrying about fuel costs. A hassle-free rental experience from start to finish.

Easy pick up, convenient location, and we really appreciated the comfort and efficiency of this car. It’s pretty unique to have a small car with a diesel engine. Gas prices were high and we saved money on fuel. Alex was great and easy to work with.
Absolutely fantastic experience! The car was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and drove perfectly throughout our trip. Pickup and drop-off were seamless, and the owner was incredibly responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. This rental made our vacation so much more enjoyable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. If you’re considering renting this vehicle, don’t think twice—you’ll be in great hands. Thank you for helping make our trip such a wonderful experience!
Car ran great. Pickup and drop off was very smooth. Owner was very accommodating to many changes to the reservation!
Awesome on all counts! Issac provided me the information I needed and lent me a great car at a great price!
Ali is accommodating and the communication was good. The car was clean inside out. Fair price for transportation.

I’ve rented from John before, and that’s exactly why I came back. Once again, he delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. I’ve rented from a lot of people over the years, and John continues to be one of the best hosts I’ve ever had on Turo. The vehicle was exactly as described—immaculately clean, mechanically perfect, and clearly well cared for. Pickup and drop-off couldn’t have been easier, and communication throughout the trip was outstanding. Every question was answered quickly, and everything was organized so well that the entire rental felt effortless. What really sets John apart isn’t just the quality of his vehicles—it’s the way he treats his guests. He’s professional, responsive, and genuinely takes pride in providing a first-class experience. That level of consistency is why I didn’t hesitate to rent from him again. If you’re looking through Turo trying to decide who to book with, stop searching. John sets the bar for what a Turo host should be. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from him a third time, and he’ll continue to be my first choice whenever I need a vehicle. Five stars doesn’t fully capture how great the experience was. Thanks again, John—I appreciate everything, and I look forward to renting from you again.

Shelly was an excellent host! She made the entire rental experience easy and stress-free. Airport pickup was seamless, and the car was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and ready to go. Communication was prompt and friendly throughout the trip. I would definitely rent from Shelly again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a smooth Turo experience.
As expected for affordable price! Has 150k miles and is 10 years old so ran as expected. Did not encounter major problems. We would rent with Brayden again who was responsive, reasonable, and accomodating

Car was easy to find and easy drop off. No problems with car. Good acceleration. No issues with going up in elevation or down. Great gas mileage especially with gas prices of 4.95 a gallon. Will use next time in Alaska
Great communication, very flexible with me when I messed up my pick up time and when I needed to extent my trip. Would totally book to rent a car from him again!

The car was exactly where it was supposed to be when we arrived. It ran great and we didn’t encounter any issues with the car’s performance throughout the rental. Wilfredo didn’t reply to my request, but that was a minor hiccup that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Would rent again!

I like it so much it was very convenient for our trip, the car was comfortable we didn’t spend much in gas very clean , they were polite, they responded fast all our questions. definitely recommend Esther to rent this car

This was a great car for our trip! Worked perfectly. Pickup and drop off was super convenient. And the host was super responsive. Would rent again!
