I rent Teslas occasionally but don't own one, so I'm familiar enough to get by, but this experience reminded me how much nuance there is to the Tesla ecosystem that casual renters simply won't know. The host did send a video ahead of time, which was a thoughtful gesture — but it was a generic Tesla overview that covered specs, body design, and internals rather than the practical, day-one stuff a renter actually needs. A custom 5–10 minute video focused specifically on setting up your driver profile, dialing in comfort preferences, and getting moving quickly would be infinitely more useful. Something tailored to this car and this rental experience, not a broad Tesla introduction you'd find on YouTube. A simple FAQ or a few annotated screenshots covering things like Supercharger use (and a note that charging costs are handled through Turo so there's no surprise billing) would dramatically reduce friction for first-time or infrequent Tesla renters. The pickup location itself was fine, but the same white-glove principle applies here too. A small but impactful detail: simply letting renters know to look for the red van marked "Pre-Flight," including the parking garage phone number, and providing clear step-by-step instructions to call ahead and let them know you're ready for pickup would eliminate all guesswork. I ended up spending unplanned time researching a process that the host could have explained in two sentences. Removing those friction points — the confusion, the research, the uncertainty — is exactly what separates a good rental from a memorable one. The car is genuinely great and the host clearly takes care of it. These suggestions come from a place of wanting to see this listing reach its full potential — because the foundation is already solid.

This was my very first time renting a vehicle using the Turo platform and had an excellent experience renting a model 3 Tesla from the host Vehicle Solutions Phoenix (formally known as Resla). Communication with the host was easy via the Turo app, and they answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. Shuttle from Sky Harbor Airport baggage claim to the parking lot where the Tesla was located took about 8 minutes. The vehicle was as described and parked in the shade under a carport; which was very nice considering Phoenix's hot weather. A third party app named Chargekey was required to download and install on your phone, and served as your keyless entry and account in which any supercharging sessions were billed. To be honest, I had my reservations downloading a 3rd party app and any glitches that could be associated if the app didn't work correctly. However, the Chargekey app worked flawlessly and allowed me similar vehicle controls from my phone as the native Tesla app, ie: pre-cooling the vehicle, unlocking the trunk/frunk, charge status, etc. My supercharging sessions we're billed to the Chargekey app with no issues, and I was able to see a detailed list of locations and charges assessed. Check-in with the vehicle and check-out was a smooth and detailed process, with clear instructions for both. Over-all, it was about as great a first time experience one could have using Turo and renting from Vehicle Solutions Phoneix! I would definitely rent a Tesla from them again!

Truly the best Turo host and an unforgettable car. Easy pickup, easy drop off. I will never rent another car. The Tesla MADE this trip what it was. Effortless. I think I drove myself maybe 3 times this whole trip because of the FSD. It’s incredibly responsive and very easy to use. On top of that Stevie was super responsive and even gave me some tips for how to get the most out of the Teslas automation. I HIGHLY recommend not only this vehicle but this goat as well.

Car was clean - biggest thing for me. I've rented a few cars in the past that smelled like smoke, but this car did not at all. Also, the car and had nice extras, like a cup-holder, phone holder, floor mats, and seat covers, just like the ones I have on my Tesla. Super simple pick-up with phone key. Car has FSD, unlike many of the Tesla rentals, so totally worth it. Host was super responsive. My kids asked to rent this exact car the next time we travel to town.

It was my first time renting a Cybertruck, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. This truck is a serious upgrade from driving a Tesla Model 3 or Y. The futuristic design, power, and especially the steering are absolutely next-level. It handles like nothing I’ve ever driven before. The truck was spotless, charged, and incredibly easy to operate—even for a first-time driver. Justin was an outstanding host. He made sure we understood all the features before we hit the road and stayed in touch throughout the trip to ensure everything was going well. His communication was clear, helpful, and professional. Pickup at the Phoenix Airport couldn’t have been easier. Justin even provided a custom map to the Cyber Truck’s location in the East Economy lot. I spotted it right away from the airport tram—it was waiting and ready to go. The return process was just as smooth. I highly recommend renting from Justin if you're looking for a unique, head-turning, and seamless experience. Highly recommend anyone who wants to rent a big car with lots of room and clean car.

Really enjoyed the car. Never drove a Tesla so it was a learning experience. With the gas prices it definitely saved us money driving this electric vehicle. Only thing I noticed is the battery would die faster depending how you drove the car and what you had running such as AC. But i definitely would choose this car again for staying local when traveling! Host was also amazing and responded instantly when I sent a message. Car was super clean and instructions were very clear. Thank you!
