The car was in very good condition, and communication with Crystal was excellent. If I were to rent a car again, I would definitely do so.

Amazing price, local style, and as a of four with two littles having the free additions (body boards, towels, and car seats) added even more value to the rental. Bryan went above and beyond with his services and pick up and drop off was a breeze. Would highly recommend and definitely will rent again on future trips!

This is our third Turo rental while on Kauai. Everything went smoothly as far as the pickup and drop off via the Turo shuttle. Communications with the host were timely and clear. The 2022 Toyota Sienna we rented worked well overall for our trip. Our days ranged between 5 and 8 passengers and everyone was generally comfortable. Being a hybrid the van was averaging right around 35 mpg which was great considering we drove almost 600 miles when all was said and done. When we picked up the van it was clean and there were no issues. The only thing I would note is that this is definitely an island car meaning that with cloth seats, the interior has seen its' fair share of wet bums and the seats have paid the price. There was a bit of a disconnect between the photos and what we actually got. This is not a criticism of the host (who provides a very clean vehicle) but rather a heads up on what other users should expect. This van is great for hauling your family around the island, hitting the beach and grabbing shave ice at Jojo's. It's clean and comfortable with great mpg. That said, it is an island car which for us was not a big deal even though it might be for others. I would have no issues with renting the van again or getting another vehicle from Ali'i Rental Cars on our next trip. Mahalo!

Nice truck. Worked great for the family vacay to drive all around the island and really nice having a locking bed. We also got toys, car seat, cooler and body boards which were already in the truck and ready to go when we wanted at various stops. So convenient!

This car is EXACTLY what you need for adventuring Kauai! A spacious, capable, gas efficient vehicle to get you to and from all your destinations. This comfortable and reliable mini van had plenty of seats and space for all our family and luggage. The car was ready for us at the airport’s special TURO parking lot, freshly cleaned and ready to go. The car itself is in good pre-adventured condition, with some scratches and dings, weathered seats, it made me feel comfortable to drive it knowing I wouldn’t be the first one to get a bit of sand in it, and I could relax and enjoy my vacation without having to completely hose down my child before entering the vehicle (as a fear of getting some dirt in it). It has seen some great adventures and it’s ready for more! This vehicle is THE BEST choice for all Kauai needs, and especially because it’s a hybrid vehicle! It’s extremely gas efficient, and gas on Kauai is expensive so that definitely matters! The Sienna is a comfortable minivan to drive, with all the modern little bells and whistles but also spacious interior and a turning radius that could help you U-turn in the middle of a street, or parallel park in a pinch. The van seats 8, and the rear seats can fold flat into the floor to create a huge trunk if needed. This is THE van to drive! Hope I get to rent this amazing van again for future Kauai trips!

The van is no frills - as other reviewers have shared, it is more warn than photos depict - but was good for getting us from point A to point B. Logan was extremely communicative. And, it was great to have to option to rent gear through him as well. When we landed, I had already received multiple messages from him. A few things future renters should know: the sliding doors are manual operation only (automatic doors no longer work); the trunk is also manual operation only and must be closed slowly for the latch to close; Polihale road is off limits (per Turo); Logan requests but does not require a car wash.

Everything went smoothly. Car was dinged up a bit but ran great and fit my family of four plus luggage and surfboards just fine. Clean on the inside and the cooler and car seat provided were top notch. Will definitely try to rent this truck again during our next visit.

The car was phenomenal. This is our second time renting from Brent. He makes everything about this experience seamless and enjoyable. We know we can count on him. Overall a great experience. Solid car, some rattles and dents but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a Hawaiian minivan.
