Subaru rental in Lihue, HI

Everything went great with the rental. The truck we had originally rented was not going to be available due to that rental driver being injured. Kevin was great in communicating this and offering us an alternative car which was a 2026 Subaru. We were concerned because we had a rentes a truck in order to hold surfboards and gear. Kevin made sure to include roof racks for us so we could travel with surfboards. The car had less than 800 miles on it when we got it so it was literally brand new. We will definitely rent from Turo again!

Ashleigh was an incredible host! She was so friendly and had great communication. The car was clean, perfect for adventuring around the island and going to the beach. We also comfortably fit a car seat. The airport shuttle was fairly easy to navigate, just make sure to add a little bit of time for the return process. Would totally rent the same vehicle again!!

Great car, clean, and wonderful communication. Turo lot right next to Costco. Making it super convenient for food and gas. Highly recommend this Subaru for your future trip. It was the perfect Kauai vehicle.

Perfect car for our situation and for being on the island itself. Definitely comes in handy to have an suv on the island and it was great on gas and the owners helped us and accommodated as needed.

Overall we had a good experience. The host was very helpful prior to our reservation starting, helping us adjust our pick/departure time so weren’t charged an additional day for an extra hour. I really appreciated this. The car has more wear than I anticipated for its age, but mostly worked well. We let the host know the charging ports were broken. She was unaware until it was brought to her attention.

Jon's Subaru Crosstreck was the perfect car for exploring Kauai. Good gas mileage and AWD. Jon made pickup and drop off easy. My first time using Turo and I would definitely use it again.

Ali was amazing! Very responsive and easy pick up and drop off. Car was reliable for the two weeks that we used it, rain or sun! If we come back, would definitely rent this car again.

Car was great! It was easy to find and get in to. It drove great and met my expectations perfectly! There was a dent in the passenger side door, but the host and I communicated that it was there prior to my trip. Host was very communicative and easy to get a hold of. Would rent again!

Subaru was super comfortable. Maintained, clean, super great on gas consumption. We were very happy. 😊 totally worth it and our Turo host was super communicative w any silly questions that came up, like “how do I get CarPlay to work?!” (Spoiler alert, it was user error 🙃) The process was super easy- will gladly rent from our host again!

Car was clean! Spacious and car owner was awesome and prompt on responses. It was great experience and also we appreciate how we were able to rent the car along with the beach gears ( chairs, umbrella, and cooler)! It was an awesome trip for us. Thanks to this car keeping us safe to and from our destinations.

We'll definitely rent from them again. First time that I've had absolutely zero hassles from anyone renting on Kauai. Never had any serious issues before, but usually get some last-minute message about something pre or post, like being asked to wash and vacuum the car on the last day of the trip. With this company, got a message saying not to worry about doing any of that, very refreshing. Again, would definitely rent from them again.

Curtis was a fantastic host, he was very friendly and helpful. The car pickup/drop-off location was easy to get to and his Subaru Forester was very clean and in excellant condition. I highly recommend him as an excellent host for car rental.

Is was so easy to get the car and begin our holiday compared to the standard car rental places where the wait in line to get the car and the wait for the car to be ready to leave. In the past it was never less than 45 minutes from getting on the shuttle and leaving with the car. Turo had only a brief wait for the shuttle and no wait to get the car, so easy. The car was very clean and performed well for our three weeks holiday. The return of the car was just as easy. Put in a parking spot and wait 10 minutes for the shuttle.
