We had a fantastic trip to Kauai, in part due to this Suburban. With 4 adults, a toddler, 6 suitcases, 3 backpacks, 4 other carry-ons and a bunch of groceries we easily fit into the car with plenty of room to spare. The ride was very comfortable. The engine had plenty of power to take off but still had surprisingly decent gas mileage. The air conditioning worked great and got cold immediately; it was hot when we were there and fast, efficient AC proved to be critical. The car also looked nice in general, making me proud to valet it. I was able to get everything i needed for the trip, including a quality car seat for my 20 month old daughter. The rental process was very efficient. Be aware that you need to take a shuttle 8- 10 minutes outside the airport to pick up and drop off any car; Turo makes it easy but still give yourself some extra time. I will unquestionably rent again the next time I'm in Kauai.

With a family of six, we could no longer risk renting from big car companies and thinking that we were getting a suburban only to get something similar to like a Tahoe and have no trunk space. Someone suggested Turo and I’m so glad they did. Tim was absolutely wonderful to work with the car was clean and the convenience of getting to pick the exact car that you’re going to drive was the best. Would definitely rent this suburban again.

There was existing damage to the right front bumper and paint job was damaged and scratched all over however the engine worked well and all the mechanics were excellent. The car drove and felt very good/smooth. I’d rate it mechanically five stars out of five.

The car was in excellent condition. It was clean and blemish free. The only hassle at Lihue is the shuttle to the Turo lot. Our group had to stay at the airport because the van was full.
