Everything about this trip and this car rental was amazing. It was very easy to pick up the car. The car was very clean and have a full tank of gas. I would absolutely rent a car with turtle again.
Melvin was above and beyond as a host, I highly recommend renting a car from him and his family. There was an issue with a tire, and he went out of his way to address the issue and make sure that our vacation wasn’t disrupted. I couldn’t have asked for more, thank you, Melvin. The car itself was great, drove well, clean on pickup, comfortable, well priced. When coming back to Kauai I will look to rent a car from Melvin again.

Great experience overall. Clean interior, good AC, and good gas mileage. Transmission felt a little clunky (almost felt like riding in a manual), but can’t complain with the great price. Glad we went with a smaller car as we didn’t need 4 wheel drive or higher clearance for any of the roads or hikes in Kauai. Would rent this car again.
Great car and very efficient on gas. Was clean as well. Will say it is quite small so it’s good for 2-4 people. Didn’t have no problems. A Turo van will pick up and do drop off from the airport which was so convenient.
