Buick Envista 2026

The upside of the rental was the vehicle itself. It was a beautiful color, extremely clean when I received it, and drove incredibly smoothly. I also enjoyed being the first person to drive this 2026 Buick! However, there were a few inconveniences. When I arrived for pickup, the car was not at the address listed, which caused some confusion. They also messaged me every day that I had the rental, which became a little irritating. The gas policy was frustrating as well. The car showed a full tank with an estimated 261 miles when I picked it up. Before returning it, I filled the tank near my home, where gas was $3.86 per gallon, and the estimated range increased to over 300 miles. Since I live about 13 miles from the return location, the needle dropped slightly below “F” during the drive. Although the car had more estimated gas than when I received it, I was required to purchase additional gas near the return area, where it was almost $6 per gallon. There were also multiple floor mats stacked on the driver’s side, which made it difficult to press the gas pedal comfortably. I recommend removing the extra mat because it can interfere with the pedals and create a safety concern. Despite these inconveniences, I’m still giving them five stars because the car was beautiful, extremely clean, and drove incredibly smoothly. I truly enjoyed the vehicle, and with a few improvements to the rental process, the overall experience would be excellent.

Carlos was charming, the car was in perfect condition, and he included many helpful things like toll tags which saved us a ton of time. We cannot imagine going back to a big rental company after an experience like we had with Carlos. We definitely will be looking for him next time we rent in the Chicago area!

The car itself was good and the perfect size for what my family needed for a few weeks. The host was excellent and a great communicator. I plan on going with her again for the next time we’re in Chicago. Not sure if I’m ever going to use another car rental company when I’m here now that I’ve used Turo!
