GMC rental in San Francisco, CA

Responsive host in answering questions quickly. Thank you! The truck drove well. The price was appropriate (interior a smidge tired but mileage appropriate). Pick up and drop off was easy. Gas was a little under full but no enough to complain (likely the old, stop the first time the pump shuts off, fill up) - I did top it off on return. I know we are all expected to just give "the host was super awesome" reviews but I don't do that. It makes none of them believable. Vehicle has a tracker. Not disclosed until past time to cancel. Researching it apparently Turo encourages it for higher value vehicles (I was not aware) so I guess not inappropriate per se. Felt odd to me but perhaps that was my ignorance. The ad included a boilerplate "may" have tracker so not fully disclosed but make of it what you will. Should be said expressly in the vehicle description and not simply at the bottom of Turo's boilerplate. That aside, vehicle drove perfectly and everything was fine. Albeit, felt like I was a teenager borrowing my parents' car with the long "reminders" to keep the car clean, telling me I might have to "plug back in" the tracker if it comes undone which the host apparently is monitoring. I mean, I get it. Its a relatively nice GMC but if an owner is holding on to it that tightly maybe not put it on Turo it in the first place? Everyone on the platform already knows the terms. Between the unecessar "reminders" and the tracker it just felt odd. But, if none of that matters to you (a potential renter) its a perfectly fine truck and the host was responsive.

Thing about this experience was great. I will never rent a car from a car rental agency again and Mr. Chris probably has the best vehicle on Toro why pay for gas.

The GMC was a great SUV that met all of our needs for our trip. It is a very reliable and nice vehicle. We had six occupants with luggage and skis. It’s not easy to coordinate a trip with people traveling from different states for a ski trip in Colorado. Mike was very professional and he responded promptly to assist us with our needs. I can’t think of a better person to rent a car from and work with. Mike is awesome! Thanks so much for helping make our trip a success!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent experience! The host delivered the 2021 GMC Acadia right to our hotel at 6 AM exactly as agreed and picked it up at 6 PM the same day. Everything was perfectly on time and very smooth. The car was in excellent condition — very clean, well maintained, and drove perfectly. We were a group of six people and the SUV was absolutely perfect for us, very comfortable and spacious. Communication was easy and professional. I would definitely rent from this host again and highly recommend both the host and the vehicle to anyone visiting the island!

This was the best car rental experience we have had. The customer service was 5star and the host was very helpful and he responded very quickly. We will definitely rent again. The suv was such a luxury very comfortable, beautiful, and lots of room.

The truck was delivered on time and in great condition for my 1300-mile trip. I would rent another car from Safin. It was a better experience than a rental car company.

Josh and Jen are great hosts. Great communication and were able to answer my questions. The 2026 GMC Yukon XL AT4 was clean and well kept when I picked it up. It was practically brand new. Pickup and return were easy and simple. The mild lift, custom wheels, tinted glass, and bigger tires really make this SUV stand out amongst the rest. It rides great down the road and was very comfortable. I've driven large SUVs/trucks and this one is just as easy to drive. Just need to be mindful of the size when parking. The AT4 has plenty of tech, cameras, and sensors to help with fitting it into spaces and around tight corners. The diesel engine gets great fuel economy on the highway and even on mountain roads with plenty of power to pull the Yukon XL along with passengers and cargo. If you've never driven a diesel before just know the engine is louder than its gasoline counterpart. I wasn't sure how much cargo room the Yukon XL would have, but it fit 5 to 7 people with no problem and our luggage with ease. Very pleased with this entire rental process and super impressed with the 2026 Yukon XL AT4 also.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Paul! The GMC Acadia I rented was well maintained, incredibly comfortable, and fully equipped. From start to finish, the rental process was seamless, and communication with Paul was excellent. I would not hesitate to rent from Paul again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch vehicle and host on Turo.

I have been treated with the most respect. Warren GMC SUV was clean and he made sure I was comfortable with everything. Had extra cords for various electronics/cell phone. Very gracious young man! I would rent from him and put other to do the same! 5 STARS!

Had an amazing experience renting Sonia’s GMC Yukon for EDC weekend! The SUV was super spacious, comfortable, and got us from point A to point B without any issues all weekend. One of my favorite parts was definitely the sound system — it made all the drives that much better. Sonia was an awesome host as well. She was easy to communicate with, very accommodating, and understanding throughout the whole trip. We were running a little late with the delivery time, but she communicated with us and was kind enough to extend the time for an extra hour. Overall, I’d definitely recommend renting from her and would absolutely rent again in the future!

This Yukon XL was perfect for the island. Plenty room for the whole ʻohana, keiki, car seats, strollers, bags, beach stuff no stress at all. Ride was smooth, solid, and comfortable, even on long drives and up the hills. A/C was ice cold, truck felt strong. Pickup and return was easy, super chill. If you get kids or a big group and want something reliable, spacious, and easy island cruising, this SUV is the move. Would 100% rent again 🤙🏽🌺

I rented Ivan’s GMC for a weekend trip around Savannah, and everything about the experience was smooth and enjoyable. The car was clean, roomy, and drove great through the city and nearby areas. One thing I really liked was the gear shifter—it felt solid and precise, which made driving even more comfortable. The Terrain had plenty of space for our bags and was great on gas for an SUV. Ivan was a fantastic host—very responsive and easy to communicate with. Pickup and drop-off were simple and right on time. Would definitely rent from him again!
