Highly recommend! I would definitely rent from Roy again. Roy was a great host—friendly, responsive, and made the whole rental process incredibly easy. The Jeep was practically brand new with only about 100 miles on it, and it even smelled like a new car! It was spotless, drove perfectly, and made the trip even better. Can’t wait to rent it again.

Great car! It was clean, drove smoothly, and was exactly as described. The host was easy to communicate with, and the whole rental process was simple. Would definitely rent again.
Highly recommend! We rented a white Ford Mustang Convertible for two days and had an amazing experience. The car was clean, fun to drive, and perfect for cruising the California coast. The host was friendly and made the whole process smooth and easy. Great service and an awesome car would definitely rent again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The E89 BMW Z4 is a beautiful machine. Just by nature of it being a fantastic car and an enthusiast machine, I’m glad to rate it 5 stars. Turo needs more cars like this! The car is full of character. The motor runs smoothly, pulls nicely, and has a raspy growl that sounds fantastic. The ride is low and responsive; the steering is delightfully heavy, and the car goes wherever you point it. You should, however, know and expect what you’re getting yourself into. It’s a 2011 car, and sitting at around 100k miles, it’s going to have some wear and tear, and that’s sort of to be expected. I must say, most of the small issues did not bother me for the trip - if you’re looking for a fun drive, I would heartily recommend the car. See the following details as extra info for the discerning guest, not as criticism. The front bumper / lip is somewhat scuffed - might be the result of guests not knowing how to navigate a car so low. Front bumper clips don’t hold the edges in place so it does hang a little loose around the headlights. If you've never owned a car this low, I'd definitely be careful with kerbs and ramps. On my own cars, I've learned this the hard way. I didn’t have any usability issues with the hardtop convertible, despite the occasional error code on the dash as other reviewers have mentioned - I was still able to put it up and down. The mechanism is delicate so I’d definitely encourage guests to review how to properly operate it before using. You have to lower the trunk shield and latch it in place. Note that there is limited luggage space in such a car - seems obvious but don’t expect to get away with lots of stuff. Perfect though for a quick weekend getaway. The pictures in the listing are a little outdated - compared to those, the car isn’t lowered, the car is back on factory wheels (as opposed to aftermarket), and the trunk doesn’t have the black spoiler trim on the edge. I’d summarize it as being more “stock” than the listing. At the time of my trip, the tires were 320TW front, 420TW rear; matching sets on each axle but different front/rear. The host clearly checked for tread before the trip, so that was much appreciated. My only real nitpick would be - the car could use an alignment - neutral steering position is a little offset on the wheel. Hopefully a quick fix for the team. Host was VERY responsive - appreciate their fantastic response time - but I would have appreciated them being more forthcoming with details of the car’s current condition, and/or more up-to-date pictures when requested before the trip. All in all, would recommend this to my friends, and would be happy to rent again. Really enjoyable trip!

Russ was responsive and helped us after another reservation was cancelled. We had fun driving along the coast with the top down. The car is in very good condition and everything works. There are a few minor cosmetic blemishes. Thanks for a fun drive!
By far the best Turo rental and customer service I’ve had . Great quick communication and everything you look for in someone to rent from!

Easy and clear pickup/dropoff, amazing car, great communication, and a weekend of good times. Would absolutely rent from again!!

I loved this car! It was so fun to drive around the Bay Area. It ran great, it was an easy pick up and drop off, and you just can’t beat a convertible in Cali. Would rent again for sure.

Julian was sooo much fun to drive on the amaaazing Pacific Coast Highway 😊😊 the rental process with Sage was super easy and it was refreshing how responsive they were whenever I sent a message. I’d absolutely rent Julian again!!

Car was perfect for our Napa trip! Host was a pleasure to work with and would absolutely rent from him again.

The car was in excellent condition. The pickup and drop-off instructions were perfectly clear, making the entire process seamless and surprise-free. It performed fabulously on our trip up the Sonoma Coast—a total dream to drive. I would absolutely rent this vehicle again. Thank you!
The host has been fantastic in maintaining communication from pre to post trip, particularly on collection and return procedures. This is extremely helpful for me as a first time user of Turo. MSTE is highly recommended as a trusted partner for your car rental needs. And the 992 speed yellow cabrio! It's a great car as expected. Well maintained. Well taken care of. Smooth. Highly capable. Quick. Brings a smile to my face. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

Car was perfect and pick up and drop off couldn’t have been easier! Great car for a CA vacation.

Great car. Beautifully maintained. Fast responses to questions. Excellent host! Will rent again

Such a fun drive! Chris is a great host and communicated very well and quickly. I would totally rent again.

The mustang was fantastic and Juri was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Everything was just as great as represented and Juri was accommodating in every way. One of the best Turo hosts I have ever encountered.

Car quality was good - very clean for vehicle age and miles. Fun and peppy little car. If you want to turn heads and have kids give you finger guns at stop lights. This is the ride for you. We very much enjoyed the car and putting the top down. Host was very responsive, great host. Would rent again.

Navigating San Francisco's notorious hills in a convertible requires caution and skill. When approaching steep inclines, maintain a steady speed and avoid stopping midway. For downhill stretches, use lower gears to control your descent and prevent overheating the brakes. Always turn your wheels towards the curb when parking on a hill. Be extra vigilant at intersections, as limited visibility can be challenging in a convertible. Familiarize yourself with the vehicle's features before setting out, particularly the hill-start assist if available. Lastly, enjoy the unique perspective a convertible offers of San Francisco's iconic architecture as you carefully maneuver the city's undulating streets.
When parking a convertible in downtown Burlingame, prioritize covered or shaded spots to protect the vehicle from sun damage and potential rain. Always secure the top before leaving the car, even for short periods. Be mindful of street cleaning schedules and pay close attention to parking signs to avoid tickets. Consider using well-lit areas, especially if parking overnight. When parallel parking, take extra care to avoid curb rash on the wheels. If possible, back into spaces for easier exit and increased visibility. Remember to remove all valuables from sight and lock the car securely. Burlingame's downtown offers various parking options, so take your time to find a spot that ensures your convertible's safety and your peace of mind.

Preparing for sudden fog in the Bay Area is crucial when driving a convertible. Always keep a lightweight, waterproof jacket handy for unexpected temperature drops. Familiarize yourself with the convertible top's operation for quick closure if needed. Ensure headlights and fog lights are functioning properly before setting out. When fog rolls in, reduce speed and increase following distance. Use low beam headlights, as high beams can reflect off the fog and reduce visibility. Consider pulling over safely if visibility becomes severely limited. Keep windows clear of condensation using the car's defrosting system. Lastly, stay tuned to local weather updates and plan your route accordingly. Being prepared will help you enjoy your Burlingame convertible rental experience, even when the Bay Area's famous fog makes an appearance.

Maximizing trunk space in a convertible for a wine country trip requires strategic packing. Opt for soft-sided luggage or duffel bags that can conform to the trunk's shape. Use packing cubes or compression bags to minimize clothing volume. Consider a small cooler for perishables and any wine purchases. Pack versatile clothing items that can be mixed and matched to reduce overall luggage. Utilize the space behind the seats for additional storage if needed. For wine purchases, bring bubble wrap or specialized wine bottle protectors to safely transport your finds. Remember, convertibles often have limited trunk space, so prioritize essentials and plan for any souvenirs you might acquire during your Burlingame-based wine country adventure.
When driving a convertible around Silicon Valley, sun protection is crucial. Apply a high-SPF sunscreen to all exposed skin, including often-forgotten areas like the back of your neck and ears. Wear UV-blocking sunglasses to protect your eyes and reduce glare. A wide-brimmed hat can provide additional shade for your face and neck. Consider wearing light, long-sleeved clothing for extra coverage. Keep a light scarf or bandana handy to protect your neck and chest area. Stay hydrated by bringing plenty of water. If possible, plan longer drives during early morning or late afternoon to avoid peak sun hours. These measures will help you fully enjoy your convertible rental experience in Burlingame and the surrounding Silicon Valley area while protecting your skin from the California sun.
