Car was extremely clean and perfect for a road trip to Big Sur! Very fun to drive, handling was very good, and the convertible truly made the experience along Highway 1 memorable. Pickup/dropoff was very smooth, would definitely rent again.

This host was fantastic! The original car I rented had a mechanical issue 25 miles into my trip. Within 90 minutes I had a new car delivered to my hotel. They made a stressful situation easy! Next time I’m down this way, I will rent from them again.
It was a great car for our vacation, great price, and mostly an easy process to pickup and drop off!

10/10 experience with Ricardo and his Jeep. Pick up and drop off instructions were super easy. I would definitely rent again for my next visit.
Reliable and fun car to take for a weekend adventure. Better on gas than expected. Interior very clean and smelled great. Under the hood car is missing stock engine cover. Exterior the black racing stripe wrap on the rear are delaminating but nothing bad about the drive itself. Would recommend to anyone who wants something a little sporty and surprisingly comfortable.
All around great trip, host was very flexible and understanding and vehicle was kept in great running condition, got me where I needed to go. Much appreciated!
Car was in mint condition and drove life a dream! Easy to communicate with owner, very helpful. The convertible top was an especially nice touch.

Car was amazing! Great modifications done to it, the exhaust sounded aggressive but not too loud, the I’m pretty sure the coilovers are an expensive set of Ohlins and they handle amazing. The only issues were sometimes it was hard to get into 1st gear, and the tires were a bit cheap and a little low on tread, but luckily it didn’t rain too much / wasn’t too cold so it wasn’t a problem! Other than that, amazing car and I’m definitely renting again next time I visit!

This was my first time using Turo, and I’ll never use traditional car rental companies again! Tony, our host, was fantastic—from pickup to drop-off, he made sure everything was seamless! And the car?! 😍 Absolutely perfect. My partner and I LOVED it, and kept arguing over who got to drive her 😂 Cruising through Yosemite in a convertible was a total game changer. HUGE thanks to Tony for making our weekend unforgettable!
Ray was extremely well organized and cumulative that made our first Turo experience simple and efficient. Thank you for all the help Ray. 10/10 would rent again

Jonathan was an excellent host! He was very responsive and quick to answer any questions I had. At one point, I couldn’t figure out why the convertible top wasn’t working, and he quickly helped me realize my luggage was blocking the trunk separator. Problem solved in minutes! The car was in excellent condition, clean, and drove beautifully. We rented it for a weekend trip down Highway 1, and it made the experience even more memorable. It handled smoothly, the convertible was so much fun, and it was the perfect car for enjoying the coastal drive. I highly recommend renting from Jonathan and would definitely book with him again!

Such a fun little car!! Everything was perfect!! Would definitely use again!

Ray’s Miata is definitely fun to drive and it’s keeps the driver so engaging with the 6 speed manual transmission. Definitely worth giving a try! Thank you Ray 🙏🏼

Great car had a great time Ray was easy to work with great with communication 👍

The interface was a little tricky to connect iPhone/ aux. might have been helpful with some kind of crib sheet, otherwise lovely experience driving down the coast with the top down

Clean well kept Car. Very enjoyable in Southern California weather. Highly recommended.

Car was great. So fun and sounds awesome! I had forgotten how fun driving can be. Interactions with the host were great. I’d definitely do it again.

Utilize packing cubes or compression bags to minimize clothing volume. Consider multi-functional items that serve multiple purposes to reduce the number of things you need to bring. For longer trips, plan to do laundry along the way, allowing you to pack less. Store smaller items in the car's various compartments and utilize the space behind the seats if available. When parking your convertible rental in Santa Clara, always opt for covered or secure parking facilities when available. If parking on the street, choose well-lit areas with high foot traffic. Ensure the top is fully closed and locked before leaving the vehicle. Never leave valuables visible inside the car; use the trunk or take them with you. Consider using a steering wheel lock or alarm system for added security. In Santa Clara's sunny climate, using a reflective sunshade can protect the interior and keep it cooler. Be mindful of low-hanging branches or obstacles that could damage the convertible top. Lastly, always double-check that all windows are fully closed to prevent any potential theft or weather-related issues.
When driving a convertible rental in Santa Clara, be prepared for potential weather shifts. Always check the forecast before heading out and pack accordingly. Keep a light jacket or sweater handy for cooler evenings or sudden temperature drops. Sunglasses and sunscreen are essential for sunny California days. Familiarize yourself with the convertible top's operation so you can quickly close it if needed. Consider bringing a small towel to wipe down seats if caught in unexpected light rain. If driving towards the coast, be aware that fog can roll in quickly. Stay informed about local weather patterns and plan your routes accordingly. Being prepared ensures you can enjoy your convertible rental in Santa Clara, regardless of weather changes.

Look for models with user-friendly convertible top mechanisms for easy operation. Consider cars with advanced navigation systems to help you navigate Silicon Valley's tech hubs. Lastly, select a car that matches your style preferences, whether you prefer a sporty look or a more luxurious feel, to fully enjoy your Santa Clara convertible rental experience.
To safely operate a convertible rental's roof in Santa Clara's climate, always ensure the vehicle is stationary when opening or closing the top. Be aware of your surroundings, avoiding low-hanging branches or obstacles. In Santa Clara's typically sunny weather, it's best to open the roof when the car is cool to prevent potential damage to the mechanism. Regularly clean and maintain the roof seals to prevent leaks during occasional rain. When closing the top, ensure it's fully latched to avoid wind noise and potential damage at high speeds. In hot weather, park in shaded areas when possible to protect the roof material. Lastly, familiarize yourself with the manual operation of the roof in case of any electrical issues, ensuring you can secure your convertible rental in Santa Clara under any circumstances.

Don't forget UV-blocking sunglasses to protect your eyes and the delicate skin around them. Consider using a lip balm with SPF. For additional protection, you might want to bring a light scarf or neck gaiter. Stay hydrated by keeping water easily accessible in your convertible rental. If the sun becomes too intense, don't hesitate to put the top up. These precautions will ensure you can fully enjoy your Santa Clara convertible rental experience while staying safe in the California sun.
