Highly recommend! I would definitely rent from Roy again. Roy was a great host—friendly, responsive, and made the whole rental process incredibly easy. The Jeep was practically brand new with only about 100 miles on it, and it even smelled like a new car! It was spotless, drove perfectly, and made the trip even better. Can’t wait to rent it again.

Great car! It was clean, drove smoothly, and was exactly as described. The host was easy to communicate with, and the whole rental process was simple. Would definitely rent again.

The E89 BMW Z4 is a beautiful machine. Just by nature of it being a fantastic car and an enthusiast machine, I’m glad to rate it 5 stars. Turo needs more cars like this! The car is full of character. The motor runs smoothly, pulls nicely, and has a raspy growl that sounds fantastic. The ride is low and responsive; the steering is delightfully heavy, and the car goes wherever you point it. You should, however, know and expect what you’re getting yourself into. It’s a 2011 car, and sitting at around 100k miles, it’s going to have some wear and tear, and that’s sort of to be expected. I must say, most of the small issues did not bother me for the trip - if you’re looking for a fun drive, I would heartily recommend the car. See the following details as extra info for the discerning guest, not as criticism. The front bumper / lip is somewhat scuffed - might be the result of guests not knowing how to navigate a car so low. Front bumper clips don’t hold the edges in place so it does hang a little loose around the headlights. If you've never owned a car this low, I'd definitely be careful with kerbs and ramps. On my own cars, I've learned this the hard way. I didn’t have any usability issues with the hardtop convertible, despite the occasional error code on the dash as other reviewers have mentioned - I was still able to put it up and down. The mechanism is delicate so I’d definitely encourage guests to review how to properly operate it before using. You have to lower the trunk shield and latch it in place. Note that there is limited luggage space in such a car - seems obvious but don’t expect to get away with lots of stuff. Perfect though for a quick weekend getaway. The pictures in the listing are a little outdated - compared to those, the car isn’t lowered, the car is back on factory wheels (as opposed to aftermarket), and the trunk doesn’t have the black spoiler trim on the edge. I’d summarize it as being more “stock” than the listing. At the time of my trip, the tires were 320TW front, 420TW rear; matching sets on each axle but different front/rear. The host clearly checked for tread before the trip, so that was much appreciated. My only real nitpick would be - the car could use an alignment - neutral steering position is a little offset on the wheel. Hopefully a quick fix for the team. Host was VERY responsive - appreciate their fantastic response time - but I would have appreciated them being more forthcoming with details of the car’s current condition, and/or more up-to-date pictures when requested before the trip. All in all, would recommend this to my friends, and would be happy to rent again. Really enjoyable trip!
Highly recommend! We rented a white Ford Mustang Convertible for two days and had an amazing experience. The car was clean, fun to drive, and perfect for cruising the California coast. The host was friendly and made the whole process smooth and easy. Great service and an awesome car would definitely rent again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
By far the best Turo rental and customer service I’ve had . Great quick communication and everything you look for in someone to rent from!

Russ was responsive and helped us after another reservation was cancelled. We had fun driving along the coast with the top down. The car is in very good condition and everything works. There are a few minor cosmetic blemishes. Thanks for a fun drive!

Easy and clear pickup/dropoff, amazing car, great communication, and a weekend of good times. Would absolutely rent from again!!

Julian was sooo much fun to drive on the amaaazing Pacific Coast Highway 😊😊 the rental process with Sage was super easy and it was refreshing how responsive they were whenever I sent a message. I’d absolutely rent Julian again!!

Car was perfect for our Napa trip! Host was a pleasure to work with and would absolutely rent from him again.
The car was in excellent condition. The pickup and drop-off instructions were perfectly clear, making the entire process seamless and surprise-free. It performed fabulously on our trip up the Sonoma Coast—a total dream to drive. I would absolutely rent this vehicle again. Thank you!
The host has been fantastic in maintaining communication from pre to post trip, particularly on collection and return procedures. This is extremely helpful for me as a first time user of Turo. MSTE is highly recommended as a trusted partner for your car rental needs. And the 992 speed yellow cabrio! It's a great car as expected. Well maintained. Well taken care of. Smooth. Highly capable. Quick. Brings a smile to my face. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

Car quality was good - very clean for vehicle age and miles. Fun and peppy little car. If you want to turn heads and have kids give you finger guns at stop lights. This is the ride for you. We very much enjoyed the car and putting the top down. Host was very responsive, great host. Would rent again.
This car was perfect for our trip down the coast. It's a very comfortable ride and the drop top was just icing on the cake. Highly recommended!
Great - pickup/drop off was easy. Car was fun, convertible worked great, could’ve actually fit more than we thought in the trunk. 5/5 thanks!

I've rented this car twice now and love it. Interior is a little worn but the engine is strong, the convertible top works flawlessly and the engine sound is exactly what you're hoping for.

The mustang was fantastic and Juri was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Everything was just as great as represented and Juri was accommodating in every way. One of the best Turo hosts I have ever encountered.

Such a fun drive! Chris is a great host and communicated very well and quickly. I would totally rent again.

From SFO, take US-101 North toward San Francisco to reach downtown in the most direct route. The freeway connects seamlessly to city streets, making navigation straightforward for visitors arriving at San Francisco airport. Having your own vehicle provides flexibility to explore California's diverse neighborhoods at your own pace.
Turo accepts valid licenses (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allow for full driving privileges; this includes driver's licenses issued outside of the US. Licenses that Turo doesn't accept in the US include any that have expired, have been altered, are conditional, probational, provisional, or restricted. Learner's permit/instruction permits are not accepted.
To rent a car on Turo in the US, you must be 18 years old or older.

In the UK, you must be 21 years old or older and have held a UK or EU license for at least one year, or another driver's license for at least two years. In France you must be 18 years old or older and have held a driver's license for at least 2 years, longer for certain makes and models of vehicles. California requires headlights during rain and fog, which are common near San Francisco international airport. Right turns on red are permitted unless posted otherwise, and you must yield to pedestrians in crosswalks throughout the San Francisco area. Always carry your driver's license and vehicle registration when driving from the airport.
Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you'll need to check on each rental car individually to see if this service is provided. On the vehicle pages, you'll see the total miles or kilometers you're allowed to drive under the heading "Distance included." You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the "Unlimited distance" filter.
Several bridges around San Francisco charge tolls, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Bay Bridge that connect to different parts of California. Most toll facilities accept electronic payment systems, making travel convenient when you rent car from SFO. Cash payments are limited, so electronic toll accounts work best for rental cars.
Multiple gas stations operate along the airport access roads and nearby highways serving San Francisco airport visitors. You'll find stations on US-101 both north and south of the airport, plus several locations on surface streets in the surrounding area. Fuel prices in California tend to be higher than national averages, so budget accordingly for your Francisco car rental.
A Ford Mustang convertible or similar vehicle works wonderfully for exploring California's scenic coastal routes and mild climate. San Francisco's famous hills and ocean views become even more enjoyable with an open-top car rental from the airport. Consider weather patterns, as fog can roll in quickly, making a rental convertible less comfortable during certain times.
Highway 1 south leads to stunning coastal scenery, while heading north takes you through wine country and redwood forests from San Francisco international airport. The rental San Francisco experience opens up access to Napa Valley, Monterey Peninsula, and Lake Tahoe for extended adventures. Each route offers unique California landscapes perfect for exploring with your airport rental car.
