Highly recommend! I would definitely rent from Roy again. Roy was a great host—friendly, responsive, and made the whole rental process incredibly easy. The Jeep was practically brand new with only about 100 miles on it, and it even smelled like a new car! It was spotless, drove perfectly, and made the trip even better. Can’t wait to rent it again.

Great car! It was clean, drove smoothly, and was exactly as described. The host was easy to communicate with, and the whole rental process was simple. Would definitely rent again.
Highly recommend! We rented a white Ford Mustang Convertible for two days and had an amazing experience. The car was clean, fun to drive, and perfect for cruising the California coast. The host was friendly and made the whole process smooth and easy. Great service and an awesome car would definitely rent again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The E89 BMW Z4 is a beautiful machine. Just by nature of it being a fantastic car and an enthusiast machine, I’m glad to rate it 5 stars. Turo needs more cars like this! The car is full of character. The motor runs smoothly, pulls nicely, and has a raspy growl that sounds fantastic. The ride is low and responsive; the steering is delightfully heavy, and the car goes wherever you point it. You should, however, know and expect what you’re getting yourself into. It’s a 2011 car, and sitting at around 100k miles, it’s going to have some wear and tear, and that’s sort of to be expected. I must say, most of the small issues did not bother me for the trip - if you’re looking for a fun drive, I would heartily recommend the car. See the following details as extra info for the discerning guest, not as criticism. The front bumper / lip is somewhat scuffed - might be the result of guests not knowing how to navigate a car so low. Front bumper clips don’t hold the edges in place so it does hang a little loose around the headlights. If you've never owned a car this low, I'd definitely be careful with kerbs and ramps. On my own cars, I've learned this the hard way. I didn’t have any usability issues with the hardtop convertible, despite the occasional error code on the dash as other reviewers have mentioned - I was still able to put it up and down. The mechanism is delicate so I’d definitely encourage guests to review how to properly operate it before using. You have to lower the trunk shield and latch it in place. Note that there is limited luggage space in such a car - seems obvious but don’t expect to get away with lots of stuff. Perfect though for a quick weekend getaway. The pictures in the listing are a little outdated - compared to those, the car isn’t lowered, the car is back on factory wheels (as opposed to aftermarket), and the trunk doesn’t have the black spoiler trim on the edge. I’d summarize it as being more “stock” than the listing. At the time of my trip, the tires were 320TW front, 420TW rear; matching sets on each axle but different front/rear. The host clearly checked for tread before the trip, so that was much appreciated. My only real nitpick would be - the car could use an alignment - neutral steering position is a little offset on the wheel. Hopefully a quick fix for the team. Host was VERY responsive - appreciate their fantastic response time - but I would have appreciated them being more forthcoming with details of the car’s current condition, and/or more up-to-date pictures when requested before the trip. All in all, would recommend this to my friends, and would be happy to rent again. Really enjoyable trip!

Russ was responsive and helped us after another reservation was cancelled. We had fun driving along the coast with the top down. The car is in very good condition and everything works. There are a few minor cosmetic blemishes. Thanks for a fun drive!
By far the best Turo rental and customer service I’ve had . Great quick communication and everything you look for in someone to rent from!

The car was in excellent condition. The pickup and drop-off instructions were perfectly clear, making the entire process seamless and surprise-free. It performed fabulously on our trip up the Sonoma Coast—a total dream to drive. I would absolutely rent this vehicle again. Thank you!
The host has been fantastic in maintaining communication from pre to post trip, particularly on collection and return procedures. This is extremely helpful for me as a first time user of Turo. MSTE is highly recommended as a trusted partner for your car rental needs. And the 992 speed yellow cabrio! It's a great car as expected. Well maintained. Well taken care of. Smooth. Highly capable. Quick. Brings a smile to my face. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

Car was perfect and pick up and drop off couldn’t have been easier! Great car for a CA vacation.

Great car. Beautifully maintained. Fast responses to questions. Excellent host! Will rent again

Such a fun drive! Chris is a great host and communicated very well and quickly. I would totally rent again.

The mustang was fantastic and Juri was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Everything was just as great as represented and Juri was accommodating in every way. One of the best Turo hosts I have ever encountered.

Car quality was good - very clean for vehicle age and miles. Fun and peppy little car. If you want to turn heads and have kids give you finger guns at stop lights. This is the ride for you. We very much enjoyed the car and putting the top down. Host was very responsive, great host. Would rent again.

When packing for a convertible rental trip around Millbrae, efficient use of trunk space is crucial. Opt for soft-sided luggage or duffel bags that can be easily molded to fit the available space. Use packing cubes or compression bags to minimize clothing volume. Consider leaving bulky items like golf clubs at home and renting them at your destination if needed. For day trips, pack a small cooler with snacks and drinks to save space and money. Don't forget to leave room for souvenirs from San Francisco or the surrounding Bay Area. By packing smart, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable trip while still enjoying the freedom of cruising with the top down in your convertible rental.
When parking your convertible rental in Millbrae, always choose well-lit areas or secure parking facilities, especially near San Francisco Airport. If possible, park in covered spots to protect the vehicle from unexpected weather changes. Always lock the car and activate any security systems. For securing valuables, use the trunk or glove compartment, ensuring they're out of sight before arriving at your destination. Consider using a steering wheel lock for added security. If parking on hills, turn your wheels towards the curb when facing downhill, and away from the curb when facing uphill. Be mindful of street cleaning schedules and parking restrictions in Millbrae to avoid fines. These practices will help keep your convertible rental and belongings safe during your stay.
When driving a convertible rental in the Millbrae area, be prepared for sudden weather changes. The Bay Area's microclimate can shift quickly, so always keep a light jacket or sweater handy. If rain threatens, pull over safely to put the top up. Familiarize yourself with the car's roof mechanism before setting out. For foggy conditions, common near San Francisco, use low-beam headlights and reduce speed. In case of strong winds, which can occur near the coast, keep both hands firmly on the steering wheel. Always check the weather forecast before embarking on longer trips, especially if you're planning to drive towards the coast or into the nearby mountains. Being prepared will ensure you can enjoy your convertible rental experience regardless of weather surprises.

Safely operating the roof of your convertible rental in Millbrae is crucial for an enjoyable experience. Always familiarize yourself with the specific mechanism of your vehicle before setting out. Most convertibles require you to be stationary when operating the roof, so find a safe spot to pull over. Ensure there's enough clearance above and behind the car before activating the roof. In the Bay Area's variable weather, be prepared to quickly close the top if needed. When closing, check that all latches are secure to prevent wind noise and leaks. Be mindful of your surroundings, especially in areas with low-hanging branches or in parking structures near San Francisco Airport. By following these guidelines, you'll maximize your open-top driving pleasure while exploring Millbrae and its surroundings.
When selecting a convertible rental for your Millbrae trip, consider the local climate and your planned activities. Opt for a model with good fuel efficiency, as you might be driving frequently between Millbrae, San Francisco, and other Bay Area locations. If you're planning longer trips, choose a convertible with comfortable seating and adequate trunk space. Consider the car's performance on hilly terrain, as San Francisco and surrounding areas have many steep streets. Look for features like a wind deflector for more comfortable open-top driving, especially on coastal routes. If you're visiting during cooler months, ensure the car has an efficient heating system. Lastly, check that the convertible top is easy to operate, allowing you to quickly adapt to the Bay Area's changeable weather conditions.
Protecting yourself from sun exposure during long drives with the top down near Millbrae is essential for a comfortable and safe trip. Always apply a high-SPF sunscreen to exposed skin, including often-forgotten areas like the back of your neck and ears. Consider wearing light, long-sleeved clothing for extra protection, particularly on longer drives. Stay hydrated by keeping water bottles easily accessible. If possible, plan your route to include shaded areas or take breaks in covered spots. Remember, even on cloudy days, UV rays can be strong, so maintain these protective measures to fully enjoy your convertible rental experience around Millbrae.
