Best car you could rent for Maui . People were easy to work with and responsive . Car play listed is for if you plug your phone in but it would only work with older iPhones not a newer one one that is for sure so I’m sure it just needs a software update. Would have just been nice to know ahead of time. Not worth docking a star over but it was annoying having to hold my phone to navigate as the car doesn’t have its own navigation system that works . All in on very happy with it was a good price. Definitely make sure you have a Costco membership or be prepared to get the stick on gas prices. Averages 25 mpg overall including the trip to Hana and we put about 400-450 miles on the car will rent from them again when we come back of possible. Thanks for the car! Mahalo
Car was comfortable and ran smooth. A/C worked great! Owner communicated everything I needed to know before and during reservation. Even when something came up, they responded quickly. Thanks for letting us use your Subaru!

Car was great and rode great and this host was wonderful meeting us and dropping off which was easy and stress free. Hands down way better than a normal rental car company and more selection than one so if you have a chance to rent this car you will be happy with it and yes Subaru start funny and its OK to think different but its a Subaru thing. Im a mechanic and know they start differently than a normal ford or chevy. Aloha and hope to visit again one day......

Easy and clear communication from the host on the details. The car itself was pretty dirty and covered in sunscreen however it is Hawai’i so not a major deal. Overall was a great value so not complaining much. The offsite location was a little annoyance but an easy $13 uber to the airport. It was poorly lit at night and I noticed someone living in the van across from the designated spot within the lot as well which was unsettling. For a 2023 the car is definitely no where near brand new and it may just be a Subaru thing but the interior felt like a late 90s Toyota. CarPlay is only wired with USB-A which sucked.
This is our second time renting from Jordan and Hanna. We love that we can pick up and drop off the car right at the airport without any hassle. They are so friendly, and understanding of a what it’s like for a family to rent a car at the beach! Unlimited miles was also great so we could explore more of Maui without worry. We were happy to rent with them again and look forward to renting again in the future.
This was my first time using Turo, I was a little nervous. Communication was great from booking to drop-off. Car was perfect size for our family of 5. It had plenty of trunk space for all our luggage. Pick-up and drop-off were easy. Much easier than when I have used the car rental companies. Will be booking from them again next time. Hoa was so nice and polite! Accommodated us extending the stay by 2hrs free of charge and even offered to meet us at the airport even though the original meet up was set for the hotel. Would definitely recommend him as a host and the car runs amazing!! Super good on gas, has wireless apple car play, and all the nice little safety features you want your car to have. I drove around with it for three full days, even did road to hāna and back with only needing to fill up on gas right before drop off. Hoa also provided lots of tips in regards to spots to see and eat at! Hope to rent from him again if/when I’m in Maui again :))
