Great car!

Car was solid overall. I’ve owned a Crosstrek and this one, like the one I owned, has an issue where the key becomes locked in the ignition and makes it difficult to start the car at times - which can be stressful. Not a huge issue but something to be aware of. We were also charged an excessive cleaning fee for sunscreen that wiped onto the interior of the door and on one of the seats. The car was basically spotless so this additional fee seemed very unnecessary. Would recommend looking at other vehicles/hosts

There is nothing wrong with the Subaru key or ignition, it works fine for everyone else.
And on my check in instructions it states there is a $40 cleaning fee for the extra work it takes to get the zinc white sunscreen off the interior. The guest can choose to clean it off themselves or pay the fee for the extra cleaning that it takes to remove it.
This guest admits they left a lot of sunscreen on the interior AND also refused to pay for the extra cleaning, and was rude about it.
Perfect car, for everything we did. Definitely can explore most of Maui in this car. It was great:)
