I had a fantastic experience renting from Pu. From the very beginning, she was prompt, professional, and extremely helpful. Communication was clear and fast, and she made the entire rental process smooth and stress-free.What really stood out was her understanding and flexibility. I requested a bit more time for my return, and she kindly granted me an additional two-hour window without hesitation. That level of customer care is rare and truly appreciated. The Prius I rented was in excellent condition very clean, well maintained, and ready to go. It drove perfectly smooth, and the fuel efficiency was impressive, making it an ideal choice for both city and highway driving. You can tell she takes great care of her vehicles. Overall, I highly recommend Pu to anyone using the Turo app. She is reliable, respectful, and goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have a positive experience. I would definitely rent from her again without hesitation.

I had a great experience renting Alvin’s Tesla. The car was clean, well maintained, and a pleasure to drive throughout my trip. Alvin was very flexible with my plans and made the whole rental process smooth and stress-free. Communication was excellent, and he was accommodating when my schedule changed. I would definitely rent from Alvin again and highly recommend both him and his Tesla to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable ride.

5⭐️ Alan is by far the best Turo host I have dealt with. He is extremely reliable and very quick to respond and makes sure everything is taken care of. Every time I have booked with him the cars have been very clean and I have had no issues at all. My most recent booking there was a problem where the car I booked was not returned by the previous customer. Alan went about and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, he gave me 4 different options for other cars I could take and they were all newer and double the price of the one I originally booked. I highly recommend anyone who needs to rent a vehicle to book with Alan.

Best car rental experience I've ever had, hands down! I was in a highly stressful situation, and Alan went above and beyond to help me out. He even picked up a charger for my phone as a good dude move. Alan has a warm personality, great enthusiasm for his work, and eager to go the extra mile to help. He has earned every bit of his excellent reputation. I will exclusively rent from Alan when I'm in Boston. 🔥🔥🔥

Disclaimer: minor pickup location change, but actually for the better. Good host and car! It isn't flashy or huge, but it's extremely comfortable inside and drives incredibly well with its slick turbo FIVE-cylinder. Miles better than anything a rental agency would give you, I loved it. Communicative host about the changes and general process!

I’m giving Terry a 5 star rating for his communication and support with the refund process. The car’s exterior is in good condition. However, the pictures of the car posted, are not images of the car you are renting. The interior looked like it had not been deep cleaned in a few years. There was years of build up in the console. There were stains on the passenger seat and driver seat. Additionally, the car was covered in dog hair and smelled as such. I had to cancel the reservation after discovering the car’s condition. While I understand the listing is at a reasonable price, the car’s condition clearly does not meet Toro’s rental community standards. For that reason, I was immediately refunded for the trip.

How does airport pickup work at Boston Logan International Airport?

With Turo, you can skip the queues at Boston Logan Airport's car rental center and get on the road as soon as you exit the terminal baggage claim. Your Turo host will deliver your rental car to one of the 24 dedicated stalls in the Economy Parking Garage. This parking garage has a handy shuttle service that operates every 15 to 20 minutes, running 24 hours a day.

When you're ready to organize your car rental return, simply head back to the Economy Parking Garage and park your vehicle in the Turo assigned spaces. Then, you can use Turo messaging to let your host know exactly where you've parked the vehicle, including the parking stall number. All that's left to do is follow the airport signs to the shuttle bus and jet off to the airport terminal, ready to catch your flight.

Wondering how to return your rental car at the end of your trip? On Turo, you can easily drop your rental car directly at the Boston Logan International Airport parking. Return your car no earlier than four hours before the end of your booking (or no longer than allowed by the garage, whichever comes first). Make sure to enter via the second entrance of the Economy Parking Garage and park in one of the 24 dedicated stalls.

How far is Boston Logan International Airport from Downtown Boston?

What are the road rules and driving conditions in Boston?

The biggest thing to know about driving in Boston is that it can be congested and challenging. The streets of central Boston are compact and narrow, designed back in Colonial times. Plus, as a city designed for cyclists and pedestrians, the Boston CBD can be tricky to navigate.

Our tip? Avoid driving at peak hours in Boston (typically 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm), rent a compact car that can easily navigate the tight CBD streets, and keep an eye out for HOV or carpooling lanes on highways (which are great if you're traveling with two or more passengers).

When driving in Boston and the rest of Massachusetts, make sure to stick to the legal speed limits (25 mph to 50 mph), ensure everyone is wearing their seat belt at all times and ensure your phone is in hands-free mode when driving.

What is parking like in Boston?

There are plenty of parking garages dotted across Boston, which makes finding a parking spot straightforward. Look out for the parking garage at Post Office Square or One Beacon Garage, perfectly positioned along Tremont Street with easy access to some of Boston's best restaurants.

Street parking is another viable option in Boston, with parking spots usually free on Sundays (just make sure to check the street signage). You'll also find over 7,000 parking spots across Boston via the ParkBoston app.

Are there toll roads in Boston?

Yes, there are several toll roads to look out for when driving in Boston. The five major toll roads in Boston include The Massachusetts Turnpike, Callahan Tunnel, Sumner Tunnel Toll, Ted Williams Tunnel and Tobin Memorial Bridge. Driving with an E-ZPass can make navigating these toll roads a breeze, with automatic charges made as soon as you zip through the toll gates.

Where can I find gas stations and EV chargers in Boston?

There are plenty of places to refuel in Boston, with gas stations located on E Berkeley Street, Boylston Street and Huntington Avenue. If you're hiring an electric car or hybrid vehicle, you'll find ChargePoint Charging Stations on Nashua Street and Shawmut Avenue.

Do I need to rent a car in Boston?

While Boston's city center is compact and walkable, renting a car is the most convenient way to explore the must-see sights of Massachusetts. Plus, having your own car means you can easily take a day trip to some of the top nearby destinations across the state, including the quaint seaside town of Cape Cod.

On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*

In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.

To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. * Any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland, but this protects your own wallet. Liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.

For questions or information about the third party liability insurance that is included in protection plans, consumers in Maryland and the licensed states listed here may contact Turo Insurance Agency at (415) 508-0283 or claims@turo.agency.
