Very convenient pickup and and drop off. Good price for a last minute car rental and no problems driving but the car was a bit old. Host was extremely responsive, would definitely rent again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a great experience renting this car! The car was amazing—it drove so smoothly, and I didn’t have any problems at all during my trip. It was also AMAZING on gas, which was definitely a plus! The car was extremely clean and looked and felt brand new. You can tell it’s very well taken care of. Communication with John was also great. He was professional, responsive, and made the whole rental process easy and stress-free. I would definitely rent this car again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, reliable, and smooth ride. Thank you, John!
The rental process was the easiest I ever experienced. Convenient location along with well explained details for the pick up of the vehicle. The car itself was good overall condition, clean and well maintained. The return instructions were equally well written. If you ever find yourself in Back Bay needing to rent a vehicle for a short getaway, this is the ideal car/person to rent it from.

Great car great rental process. I will look for this car for my next trip for sure 👍

The instructions 24 hours before the reservation was to start were clear and once we arrived at Boston Logan, finding the car was really easy and straightforward. The car itself was clean and drove great. The owner was very responsive and great to interact with. Would definitely rent their car again!

I’m not the type that says much but I must admit this is probably the best car rental service I’ve seen. Location was perfect, the car is brand new
We had a great trip using Leena's car! It was clean, got great gas mileage, and was very spacious for such a compact sedan - we were easily able to fit our large checked bag and two carry-ons in the trunk. When we had questions (like when we accidentally activated the kill switch), she replied to our communication quickly & efficiently. The nav system worked great with our phones (we were nervous about this after our last experience with one of the big rental companies). 10/10 would recommend and would rent from again!
Excellent Rental! James was probably the best host we have had with Turo. Very Communicative and always invested in us having a good time. He was extremely accommodating and had the car in great condition with less than 24 hrs notice. The car seems well maintained and drove great. We would definitely rent again if we are in the Boston Area!

The car was in excellent condition. There were no problems with the rental. Communication was excellent throughout the trip. I would definitely rent from him again

FSD was great, and pickup/drop off was easy! This is the best rental available in Boston, will definitely look to rent this car again.

Here’s a polished 5-star review you can post on Turo: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience renting the 2019 Chevrolet Impala from Ukray, LLC. The car was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It drove smoothly, was very reliable, and made my trip enjoyable from start to finish. The host was professional, responsive, and made both pickup and drop-off quick and hassle-free. Communication was outstanding throughout the rental process. I would definitely rent from Ukray, LLC again and highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a dependable, comfortable ride. Thank you for a great Turo experience! Thanks 🙏
Great car for the price with good gas mileage! Host was very responsive! Thank you!

Daniel was great! He worked with us and our fluctuating flight schedules to handle the pickup and drop off. The car drove great, fit our two big suitcases and helped us avoid high gas prices all week!

This host was super helpful and so so easy to use. I had to come to New England for a family emergency very last minute and the only rental I could find was this one and it was such a blessing. I didn’t have any issues and the whole reservation was very straightforward. I highly recommend this host
I’m giving Terry a 5 star rating for his communication and support with the refund process. The car’s exterior is in good condition. However, the pictures of the car posted, are not images of the car you are renting. The interior looked like it had not been deep cleaned in a few years. There was years of build up in the console. There were stains on the passenger seat and driver seat. Additionally, the car was covered in dog hair and smelled as such. I had to cancel the reservation after discovering the car’s condition. While I understand the listing is at a reasonable price, the car’s condition clearly does not meet Toro’s rental community standards. For that reason, I was immediately refunded for the trip.

Who is monthly car rental in Boston for?
Just relocated to Boston
Boston's massive September lease turnover brings thousands of new residents every year, many arriving for roles in biotech, healthcare, or financial services. You need reliable transportation from day one — but committing to a used car purchase before you've learned the neighborhoods or figured out your commute doesn't make sense. An extended car rental in Boston bridges that gap, giving you wheels while you settle in and decide what fits your life here. For many, it's a practical car ownership alternative that keeps options open.
Lease just ended — or just sold your car
Boston's used car market is expensive, and rushing into a purchase rarely ends well. If your lease just wrapped or you sold your car, a monthly rental gives you breathing room. Take your time comparing options, test different commutes, and figure out whether you even need to own a car in this city — all without the pressure of a dealership timeline or a depreciating asset in your driveway.
Extended work assignment or traveling professional
Traveling nurses at Mass General Brigham, biotech contractors along the Route 128 corridor, and consultants with Financial District projects all share the same problem: daily rental rates add up fast over a six-to-12-week stay. Renting a car for a month in Boston through Turo is far more competitive for these durations, with 30+ day discounts that bring the effective daily cost well below short-term rates.
Post-college or first car
With dozens of colleges and universities in the metro area, Boston has no shortage of recent graduates weighing their next move. Tight budgets, limited credit history, and uncertainty about staying in the area make a car loan a risky bet. A monthly car rental lets you drive what you need — a reliable sedan for job interviews, a compact for weekend errands — without tying up money in a down payment or locking into years of loan payments.
If you're arriving at Boston Logan International Airport for an extended stay, you'll find a wide selection of monthly rentals available near BOS. Whether you're relocating, starting a contract, or beginning a multi-month project, picking up a car close to the airport means you're set from the moment you land — no shuttle to a distant lot, no counter lines. Filter for 30+ day trips to see the best long-term rates from listings near the terminal area.
Cambridge is home to MIT, Harvard, and a dense corridor of biotech and tech employers — Moderna, Google, and Microsoft among them. If you're a researcher, grad student, or relocating tech worker, picking up a monthly rental in Cambridge puts you close to the labs, campuses, and offices where you'll spend your days. It's a practical base for anyone on a defined-period stay who needs dependable daily transportation.
South Boston's Innovation District and Seaport area attract a steady stream of young professionals relocating for work. Parking here is limited and expensive, but having a car for suburban errands, weekend trips, and commuting to offices along Route 128 makes daily life significantly easier. A monthly rental picked up in South Boston gives you that flexibility without the burden of owning a vehicle in one of the city's priciest neighborhoods.

Before you book a monthly rental in Boston, here's what's worth knowing about finding the right car, navigating the city, and keeping costs down.
Use the duration filter to surface 30+ day trips and unlock the deepest monthly discounts. Browse by price to compare options across the city, and book in advance when you can — popular listings in Boston move fast during peak relocation months like August and September. Trips of seven and 14 days also come with reduced rates if you're testing a shorter commitment first.
For daily commuting in Boston, prioritize fuel efficiency and comfort over anything flashy. Sedans, compact SUVs, and hatchbacks tend to offer the best value for monthly renters. Think about your typical week: if you're commuting to Cambridge and running weekend errands, a fuel-efficient compact handles that well. If you need cargo space for moving or gear, a midsize SUV gives you room without burning through gas.
Boston's default speed limit is 25 mph, and the city's narrow one-way streets take some getting used to. I-93 is consistently congested during rush hour, and the I-90 corridor (Massachusetts Turnpike) carries heavy east-west traffic. Winter driving conditions can include snow and ice from November through March, so keep that in mind when selecting a vehicle for a multi-month stay.
Monthly garage parking in Boston ranges from roughly $75 in outer neighborhoods to $700 in the Financial District and Back Bay. Most neighborhoods require a residential parking permit for on-street spots, so check your area's requirements. Metered parking in Back Bay runs $3.75 per hour. For a monthly renter, securing a garage spot or understanding your neighborhood's permit system early saves real headaches.
The Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) is the main toll road through the metro area, and the Ted Williams Tunnel connects to the airport zone. Tolling is fully electronic via E-ZPass — no cash lanes, no stopping. If you're commuting along I-90 regularly, factor tolls into your monthly budget and check whether your rental car has an E-ZPass transponder before your first trip.
Standard gas stations are easy to find throughout the metro area. If you're considering an electric vehicle for your monthly rental, Boston's public charging network is growing steadily, with ChargePoint stations across the city and state incentives that encourage EV adoption. Filter for electric listings on Turo if you want to skip the pump entirely during your stay.
You'll find practical, everyday vehicles well suited to monthly rentals in Boston — reliable sedans from Toyota and Honda, fuel-efficient compacts from Hyundai and Kia, and family-friendly SUVs with room for passengers and cargo. These are the kinds of cars that handle city commuting, weekend trips, and daily errands without breaking the bank on fuel or insurance.
Whether you want to rent a car for a month in Boston or stay for several months, rentals on Turo get cheaper the longer you book. Trips of 30 days or more unlock the deepest discounts, and many listings also offer reduced rates for seven-day and 14-day bookings. About 60% of available monthly supply in Boston is priced under $800 per month, with a median around $1,300 per month. You'll see the total price before you book — no hidden fees, no surprise charges at the end.
No. Turo doesn't require a traditional credit check to book a car in Boston. You'll need a valid driver's license, and your driving record will be reviewed, but there's no credit inquiry — making it accessible even if you're building credit or new to the country.
Yes. If your plans in Boston change and you need the car longer, you can request a trip extension directly through the Turo app. Many listings in Boston offer flexible availability, so extending is usually straightforward.
You can end your current trip and book a different car in Boston whenever you'd like. If you realize you need more cargo space or better fuel economy partway through your stay, you're not locked in — browse what's available and switch.
You'll need a valid driver's license. International visitors to Boston can use a valid foreign license along with a passport. Everything is handled digitally through the Turo app — no paperwork at a rental counter.
A valid US driver's license works for domestic guests booking in Boston. International guests can use a valid foreign license paired with their passport. No international driving permit is required in most cases.
Turo offers multiple protection plans you can choose from when booking your monthly rental in Boston. Each plan provides a different level of coverage, so you can pick the one that fits your budget and comfort level.
Mileage policies vary by listing in Boston. Each car has a daily mileage allowance set by the person who listed it. If you're driving regularly for your commute in Boston, filter for "Unlimited distance" listings to avoid overage charges on a monthly booking.
Absolutely. Many listings in Boston offer automatic discounts for trips of seven days, 14 days, and 30+ days. The longer your Boston rental, the lower your effective daily rate — monthly bookings typically get the steepest savings.
Additional drivers can be added to your trip in Boston through the Turo app. Each added driver must meet Turo's requirements and be approved before getting behind the wheel.
It depends on how long you need a car and what you'd spend on ownership. In Massachusetts, the average monthly payment for a new car is $699, and $511 for a used car — and that's before you add insurance, maintenance, and depreciation. For someone who needs a car for one to six months, a monthly rental on Turo can cost significantly less than the total burden of a lease, especially when you factor in down payments and long-term commitments. Turo's pricing is transparent and all-in, so you know the full cost before you book.
