My car has transmission issues and needed to be towed 1.5 hrs into my rental. I went the next 10 days of my trip without a car.

We’re sorry this happened during your trip. The vehicle was being driven at low speeds in approximately 100°F heat, which caused the transmission temperature to rise and triggered a temporary warning. The check engine light was not on. After the vehicle was towed back, it was thoroughly inspected and no transmission or mechanical issues were found. We always take vehicle safety seriously and would never knowingly provide a vehicle with a transmission problem.
