BMW rental in San Mateo, CA

First time using Turo cause major car rental place unexpectedly canceled my reservation. Russ was helpful, super responsive, and super easy to work with. Fantastic car. Can’t recommend enough. Never using a major rental car company again if I can help it.

Great trip. Flexible pick up and drop off. It costs a bit more than expected to rent this car in California because it only takes premium gas, which was not clear to me before I completed to rental process. Luxury car experience for a good price, with clean car, working AC, minor dents and scratches on the car and windshield that don’t affect the driving experience at all. It was easy pickup except that the code to unlock the box was not automatically sent through turo (probably because I was on the plane in transit to SFO with no WiFi) so I had to wait and call the owners of the vehicle to get the code late at night. They answered and were helpful and apologetic that I ran into the issue. The pick up and drop off at SFO international garage G (easy to walk to from departing check in gates and after customs at SFO) was very convenient for my travel plans.

Moe was a fantastic host! He was incredibly responsive and made the entire rental process easy and seamless. The car was pristine, exactly as advertised, and an absolute pleasure to drive throughout our trip. We had a great experience from start to finish and would absolutely rent from Moe again. Highly recommend!

Loved this BMW. It is in great condition, like new. Easy pick up and drop off! A really fun car to drive and it was perfect for our trip to Santa Clara for graduation. We rented Wade’s BMW iX for 3½ months and couldn’t have asked for a better host. Quality of the car was awesome, especially given the price. It was more than half the cost of a compact rental from the traditional agencies at the airport. Hosts were helpful getting me through the pickup process. Not too far away from the airport (SFO).
