Honda Accord 2015

If I could give more stars I definitely would, David is the best host, this was our first time on Turo and was the best experience ever, we will definitely be renting this car again if we need too, We had this car for almost 3 months and the communication with David was amazing, the car runs amazingly and does really well on gas mileage, we had to drive it an hour 4 days a week and never once had a problem with the cars performance, truly if you need to rent a car and want to get something that has good gas mileage and performs really well I would definitely recommend this car, comes with a dash camera and it’s super useful if it’s ever needed luckily we never had to use it, but 10000/10000 for rating and again I can’t express how good of a host David is

I had a great experience with this car rental from start to finish. The entire process was easy and stress-free, and Susan was amazing. She really made everything seamless and made sure the experience went smoothly from beginning to end. The car itself was exactly what I expected — very clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. I absolutely loved it. One of my favorite features was the ambient lighting; it was the perfect touch and made driving at night even more enjoyable. It really elevated the whole experience and made every car ride feel that much better. I would definitely rent again and highly recommend it!

One of rental experiences I’ve had and I’ve rented cars all over the world. My original trip got canceled the day before so being able to make this late booking definitely saved my trip. This k5 GT is luxury and sporty with a panoramic roof which pleasantly surprised me. The gas mileage is 30 as well which is great for Cali considering the high gas prices. Would recommend 👍🏽

Top tips for renting a car in Ontario

Follow these tips for a safe and smooth trip in your car rental (Ontario, CA).

What are the road rules and driving conditions in Ontario?

Ontario has a well-planned road network with major routes, such as I-10, I-15, and State Route 60, which link the city to Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and other nearby areas.

Traffic usually picks up during the usual weekday morning and evening rush hours, especially near the airport along E Airport Dr and logistics distribution centers.

Speed limits typically range from 25–35 mph in urban areas and up to 65 mph on highways. Always follow posted speed limit signs carefully (especially near schools, construction zones, and residential neighborhoods).

Southern California’s weather is generally pleasant, but you should take note of a few periods in the year when extreme weather can affect driving. The area is well known for "Santa Ana winds", which typically occur in fall and winter. You might experience sudden gusts, dust, and reduced visibility.

The region is also prone to wildfires during hot, dry, and windy conditions in summer, so stay alert to fire warnings and avoid driving through smoky or fire-affected areas. Flooding is uncommon, but it is most likely to happen in winter. Pay attention to weather warnings during this period, and avoid driving through flooded roads.

What is parking like in Ontario?

There's a variety of parking options in downtown Ontario, including metered street parking, parking garages (like the Downtown Ontario Public Parking Garage along Bon View Ave), and surface lots. You can usually find car lots near public areas like Golden Oak and shopping areas like Ontario Mills.

Just be sure to check signs for any time limits or restrictions to avoid fines.

Are there toll roads in Ontario?

There are no toll roads directly in Ontario, but nearby highways like State Routes 73, 133, 241, and 261 have toll sections. You'll need to take note of these roads if you plan to travel further south or east from Ontario itself.

Are there gas stations and EV chargers in Ontario?

Use apps like PlugShare or Google Maps to locate the nearest gas station or charger in Ontario, and also to check opening hours.

There are many gas stations around Ontario, which you can usually find along major roads like 4th Street, Holt Blvd, and Euclid Avenue, making quick fuel stops convenient wherever you're headed.

You'll find plenty of EV charging stations (180+) within 9 miles of Ontario as well. You can find them at event spaces like Toyota Arena and shopping precincts like Ontario Mills.

Do I need to rent a car in Ontario?

It's best to rent a car in Ontario as public transportation options are limited and sometimes unreliable. Ride shares are another option for getting around (and are more efficient than buses), but they can become costly. This is especially so if you're making several trips a day to visit business hubs or regional attractions.

With a Turo rental, you can easily commute to work sites, navigate the Inland Empire, or take road trips to nearby destinations like Big Bear Lake or Palm Springs. Whether you're looking for a compact car or a luxury sedan, find your ideal rental car on Turo before you arrive.

When booking a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that’s right for you. On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*

In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.

The primary driver (whoever rented the car) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.

To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
