Best of all the vehicle was clean and in a great condition. Very satisfied with the price and the fact that it is ⛽ saver. Great communication. Much appreciated.🏆🏆🏆

Host was very helpful and communicated well. The car ran really well and drove smoothly during my trip! Will rent again in the future! Thank you!

For my first time driving a Prius, I had a wonderful stressless experience. Gas on this car was wonderful. Drove smoothly. Host was accessible and directions for pick up and drop off were clear and easy. The car did have foot prints on the floor mat and needed vacuuming upon pick up, but that really was not a big deal to me, because I took my pictures upon pick up to show. I still got it washed & vacuumed at the VP gas station 3-4 min up the street because I had no issues & was in it & had a smooth trip. Plus the car wash was only $5 & free vacuum. Recommended by the Host 🙏🏾. Thank you again. Definitely would recommend.
Host was amazing, host is flexible with pickup and drop up. Smooth driving and best 7 seater car for affordable price

Excellent communication and like the car so much that I extended! Will absolutely rent from them again.

Was perfect for my last minute rental, had the car ready in a few hours. Very clean, responsive, and easy pickup/drop-off!
Reliable car and great communicative host! Very solid deal. I recommend this to others.
Great car. Super fun ! Handles beautifully and the automatic transmission was good. Owner was very nice. I rented because I’m considering buying one. So glad I tried it first. I will rent again if I haven’t bought one yet.

The car was easy to pick up and return. It was so good on mileage and very well maintained. I would definitely rent again.
Rented this car for a month for work. So happy with my decision. The process was smooth and easy and the Prius was reliable. Communication was great. Would definitely rent again!

Everything about this rental was great from the pick up to the drop off to the trip I took
Clean car. Well maintained. Great communication. Prius was great on gas. Much better than having to sit at a charger for a full electric. Good price as well. Would rent from again

Great experience renting from David! The car was comfortable and worked well for our trip. Pickup and return were easy, and David was helpful and responsive whenever I had any questions. Thank you!

Great car! Fast response and great hosts! Super communicative and friendly! Rent this if you have any doubt!

Car was good, cleaned. owner respond quickly, easy pick up and drop off. Will rent again

Anthony was great! Very communicative, responsive, and easy to work with. The car was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Would definitely rent from them again!

great car, the steering pulls to the left pretty hard and you have to really stay on top of that or it goes into the next lane, alignment needs to be fixed but other than that, great car, incredibly clean and easy to work with the rental people
Perfect car! Definitely recommend! Communication was perfect and clear. He answered all my Questions I had. Will definitely rent again!

Downtown Pomona offers various parking options for visitors with rental cars. The city provides several public parking lots and garages strategically located near popular attractions and businesses. Street parking is also available, but be sure to check posted signs for time limits and restrictions. Some areas offer metered parking, so keep coins or a credit card handy. For extended stays, consider using one of the city's parking structures, which often provide more affordable daily rates. For navigating Pomona's streets and exploring nearby attractions, a range of car types can provide comfort and convenience. A midsize sedan offers a good balance of maneuverability for city driving and comfort for longer trips. If you're planning to venture into the nearby mountains or state parks, an SUV might be more suitable, providing better ground clearance and space for gear. For those focused on city exploration, a compact car can be ideal for easy parking and fuel efficiency. Families or larger groups might prefer a minivan or full-size vehicle for extra space and comfort. Consider a luxury car rental for a touch of elegance while cruising through Pomona's historic districts or visiting upscale areas. Ultimately, choose a rental car that aligns with your itinerary and personal preferences to enhance your Pomona experience.
Guests should be aware that Pomona, like many Southern California cities, experiences significant traffic during peak hours. Mornings typically see heavy westbound traffic as commuters head towards Los Angeles, while evenings face congestion in the eastbound direction. The 10, 57, and 71 freeways can become particularly busy during these times. Local streets near Cal Poly Pomona may also experience increased traffic when classes are in session. To avoid delays, consider planning your trips outside of the typical rush hours or use navigation apps to find alternative routes. Weekends generally offer more relaxed driving conditions, except during special events. If your schedule is flexible, try to time your journeys to avoid the busiest periods, ensuring a more pleasant driving experience in and around Pomona.
Pomona and its surrounding areas are well-equipped with reliable gas stations near popular destinations. You'll find several options along major thoroughfares like Holt Avenue, Garey Avenue, and Mission Boulevard. For those exploring the Fairplex area, there are convenient stations on White Avenue and Arrow Highway. If you're visiting Cal Poly Pomona, look for gas stations along Temple Avenue or Valley Boulevard. Downtown Pomona also has easily accessible options. Many of these stations offer additional services like car washes and convenience stores. It's a good idea to refuel your rental car before embarking on longer trips to nearby attractions. Remember to check your chosen rental car's fuel type and always return your rental with the agreed-upon fuel level to avoid extra charges.
To prepare for Pomona's weather while driving a rental car, consider the region's typically warm and dry climate. However, conditions can vary, especially during winter months. Pack sunglasses and use your rental car's sun visors to combat bright sunlight, which is common year-round. During rare rainy periods, ensure your rental car's wipers are functioning properly and drive cautiously on potentially slick roads. In summer, the heat can be intense, so check that your rental car's air conditioning is working well before setting out. If planning trips to nearby mountains, be prepared for cooler temperatures and possible snow in winter. Always check weather forecasts before long drives and adjust your plans accordingly. Choosing a rental car with features like climate control can enhance comfort during your Pomona adventures, regardless of the weather.
Driving in Pomona's city streets differs significantly from navigating nearby rural areas. In the city, you'll encounter more traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, and lower speed limits, requiring increased alertness and frequent stops. Pomona's grid-like layout makes navigation straightforward, but watch for one-way streets and parking restrictions. Rural areas around Pomona offer a more relaxed driving experience with scenic views, but require different considerations. Roads may be narrower and less well-lit, with potential for wildlife crossings. Speed limits are generally higher, but curves can be sharper. In rural areas, gas stations and services may be less frequent, so plan accordingly. Whether in the city or countryside, always adjust your driving to suit the environment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience in your rental car.
While Pomona itself doesn't have toll roads, guests should be aware of nearby toll roads when planning trips to surrounding areas. The closest toll roads are found in Orange County, including portions of the 73, 133, 241, and 261 freeways. If your travels take you towards Los Angeles, you might encounter express lanes on some freeways that require a transponder for use. When venturing further, like towards San Diego, you may encounter additional toll roads. It's advisable to discuss toll options with your car rental provider before your trip. Some rental cars may come equipped with toll transponders, while others may require you to pay tolls separately. Always check your planned route in advance and be prepared with cash or electronic payment methods if you decide to use these faster, but paid, routes during your Pomona-based adventures.
Yes, rates can vary, but renting a car on Turo from local hosts in Pomona may often be more affordable than at rental companies in nearby cities due to fewer additional fees and more competitive pricing.
