Host communicated well before and during our trip. Easy pick up and drop off. We drove this roundtrip and the car gave us no issues. Great mileage, gas saver, and comfortable for a family of 4. The trunk was deep and held our luggages. Will rent again!

This is the 3rd time I rent a vehicle from SMZ RENTAL…. The host is super cool 😎. The car is nice and clean inside and out. Car drive smooth. Would definitely recommend the ride.

Car was clean in good condition. The gas tank was full. It really saved a lot for me on gas considering the current gas prices . Gang communicated well and it was easy to find the car easy instructions as well. If you need a car for saving time and budget this is a really good choice I used this car for a month long charity event.

The car was in great condition and was an easy drive. Fadi himself is an excellent host and was very easy to communicate with. He left clear instructions for picking up and returning the car for a smooth contactless transaction. I would rent from him again.

Navigating Los Angeles traffic from San Dimas requires strategy and patience. Plan your trips outside of peak hours when possible, typically avoiding 7-9 AM and 4-7 PM on weekdays. Utilize traffic apps to stay informed about current conditions and alternative routes. Consider using surface streets instead of freeways during heavy congestion. The 210 and 57 freeways near San Dimas can get particularly busy, so familiarize yourself with parallel routes. If you must travel during peak hours, allow extra time for your journey. San Dimas' location offers some reprieve from the worst LA traffic, but it's still wise to plan ahead. Remember, Los Angeles driving often requires a flexible approach, so be prepared to adjust your route as needed.
For exploring San Dimas and its surroundings, a versatile vehicle is ideal. An SUV offers comfort for city driving and capability for mountain roads, perfect for trips to the nearby Angeles National Forest. If you're planning to stick to urban areas and highways, a standard sedan provides good fuel efficiency and easy maneuverability. For those interested in eco-friendly options, an electric vehicle is suitable, with charging stations available in the area. If you're visiting during the warm months and want to enjoy the California sunshine, a convertible could enhance your experience, especially for scenic drives. During special events, such as the San Dimas Western Days, additional parking areas may be designated. It's always wise to check for any parking restrictions or time limits, which are typically well-signed. San Dimas' small-town feel extends to its parking situation, making it generally less stressful than in larger cities.
While San Dimas itself doesn't have toll roads, drivers should be aware of nearby toll facilities when exploring the greater Los Angeles area. The closest toll roads are the 91 Express Lanes to the south and portions of the 10 and 110 freeways closer to Los Angeles. These express lanes require a FasTrak transponder for electronic toll collection. If you're planning extensive travel in Southern California, consider getting a temporary FasTrak account. Most major highways around San Dimas are toll-free, including the 210, 57, and 10 freeways. Always check your planned route for potential tolls and have a payment method ready if needed. Remember, accidentally using a toll road without proper payment can result in fines, so it's best to plan ahead when traveling beyond San Dimas.

Driving in San Dimas offers a more relaxed experience compared to navigating Los Angeles streets. San Dimas features wider, less congested roads and a more suburban layout, making it easier to navigate. Parking is generally more abundant and often free in San Dimas, unlike the scarce and often expensive parking in LA. Traffic flow in San Dimas is typically smoother, with fewer stop-and-go situations common in LA. However, when venturing into Los Angeles, be prepared for more aggressive driving styles, complex freeway interchanges, and a higher volume of vehicles. San Dimas drivers may need to adjust to the faster pace and more assertive maneuvers required in LA traffic. Always allow extra time when transitioning from San Dimas' calmer roads to the bustling streets of Los Angeles.
