Subaru rental in Wheat Ridge, CO

I had a great first experience renting through Turo, and would definitely rent again. The pickup instructions for this 2021 Subaru Legacy were clear, the location was convenient, and the host was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The car was clean and tidy when I picked it up, which I really appreciated. That said, I did notice the drive wasn’t as smooth as what I’m used to in my own Subaru Legacy. I noticed a few small dings on the front that looked like they may have been from a minor previous incident, which could have affected the smoothness of the drive (but I wouldn’t know I’m not a mechanic I’m only comparing to my 2020 Subaru Legacy) Additionally, the AC had a slight odor after running for a bit, which might just need something simple like a filter change. None of these issues affected my trip in a major way, the ride was pleasant and I still had a positive experience overall. I’m happy to give this a 5-star rating because of how easy and smooth the rental process was, along with the host’s great communication.

Scott was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. He was flexible with my group’s plans. I had no issues with the car and would definitely rent it again if back in the area.

We love driving the Subaru Crosstrek. It was an ideal car for our month long tour around Colorado. Hector was great at communicating and the pick up and drop off were super easy.

The car drove smooth and handled well as Subarus usually do, though with these modern cars, the unnecessary sensors are pretty annoying. Frequently I was getting alerts to “keep eyes on road”, lane sensors when they the lanes become poorly visible, annoying seatbelt alarms that go off randomly that I could not figure out, if I wanted to park with the door open, the alarm would chirp until I closed the door and reopen it. Most of these “safety alarms” to me are just distractions. Also when you kick it in reverse, the mirrors point downward, also seems unnecessary. None of these are Hectors fault, but just be aware if you get annoyed by these new cars and all of the extra bells and whistles, this might not be for you. Also, the windshield wipers should be replaced as they are leaving streaks.

Car was great! Clean, great mileage, and we fit in with the Subarus of Denver! Listing could do with some updated photos to show current damage, as it does not currently look like photos, but still drives great.

Good car and customer care. It’s not a new car (2013) but it got my family around the mountains no problem.

Such a great car and host. The car drove well and could handle the snow. It got good gas mileage and was clean. The car has snow tires and the host provided a ski roof rack. He also accommodated changes we needed to make to the trip, including pickup/drop off at the airport. I would happily rent this car again for our next trip.

(Keep in mind this car is ~13 years old) Susan's Subaru got me where I needed to go and was a great car! Comfy ride and decent gas mileage. Was reliable in the snowy mountains.
