Tesla Model 3 2019

Our experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The Tesla Model Y was beautiful, spotless, and drove perfectly. It was our first time renting a Tesla, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The host was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. He took the time to explain how the Tesla works, walked us through all of its features, and even showed us things we can take advantage of next time, like using the Tesla app to make the experience even better. He was very patient, informative, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. My wife absolutely loved the car, and the whole experience made the trip even more special. We were both so impressed that we're already looking forward to renting it again! If you're thinking about renting this Tesla, don't hesitate. The vehicle is fantastic, and the host goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible experience. Thank you for an unforgettable rental—we'll definitely be back!

Hyundai Sonata 2019

The trip host was a wonderful help during the entire process. I was a little un clear on how to pick up the vehicle once at the Airport and where the vehicle would be located. I messaged the host when landing and they explained everything to me immediately. It made the trip smooth. The overall vehicle condition was good for the price and the car did wonderful on gas. When dropping off the vehicle we ran into a little issue with possible damage to the front end but got it resolved due to following the proper steps and taking pictures of EVERYTHING when picking up the vehicle AND when dropping off the vehicle. It is important to make sure you’re taking pictures for your own records as well as the host’s records. Overall it was a very smooth process and the host was easy to work with.

Areas around the Jackson Street historic district and many local attractions offer convenient parking options, while destinations such as the Iwo Jima Monument and Hugh Ramsey Nature Park provide on-site parking for visitors.

Electric vehicle drivers will also find charging stations in Harlingen and across the surrounding region, including at shopping centers, hotels, and other public locations. While the Rio Grande Valley's charging network is smaller than those found in major Texas metropolitan areas, most popular destinations remain accessible with a little advance planning.

Do I need to rent a car in Harlingen?

Yes. While Harlingen is served by Valley Metro buses, most visitors find that a car is the most practical way to explore the Rio Grande Valley.

Popular destinations including South Padre Island, Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park, Brownsville, and McAllen are spread across the region and are easiest to reach by car. Having your own vehicle gives you the flexibility to travel between attractions, beaches, wildlife areas, and neighboring communities on your own schedule.
