Honda Accord 2020

Was great for us. Great communication, friendly and kind. Willing to work with us when needed. Car does have seat stains that I recommended seat covers for as an option for more professional situations as sadly the seat stains make for a feel of dirtiness unfortunately. I think with some seat covers that are dark, and some change outs of the cigarette burns in the plastic parts even with aftermarket parts, that this car would become a top vehicle rental. At the price it was reasonable for our purposes, wish we could have gotten it a little less, but we needed to secure one faster. We paid $25/day as is. The vehicle did have a previous accident and as we drove it the right side of the bumper slightly dismantled and flapped in the air and hung down under the vehicle. We were only able to find a few buttons and screws that were able to work and secured it temporarily for some time but more are missing. I spent about 4-6 hours fixing it all and it cost me about $18-$25 or so off the top of my head. I think it was priced maybe about $5/day more than Id prefer for the experience I had, but it had the room I wanted for the rental I needed and had 33mpg overall with the mixed driving I had. The car has a weird noise from what seems to be the back tires rumbling as if the tires were sitting for too long in one place so might be worth changing with the company who they were purchased from. Everyone said something negative about the seats, and because they had stains and were white we had to be excessively protective of them where if they were dark, we would not have had to be. Even though it looks good from afar, there are quite a bit of scratches on the paint so it doesnt look as fresh up front and personal, so be aware of that. Great car, just wish it were a bit less and do wish it were a bit nicer "feel" for what we paid, but beats renting at a car rental place by a long shot for the cash savings. I recommend getting something to protect the seats so the "feel" can be less stressful and resolve the little stuff and charge the same rate afterwards and it will give a 5 star experience all around. This is still 5 star to me because Im not a bad rater for first time experiences unless I have issues that were far worse. For the money this was still 4.5 stars so I round it to 5 on that alone. Feel was 3 stars (if you are looking for a clean fresh new car feel) and the owner was a 4.5 stars. If I could advise her to be the best of the best and take it to 5 stars plus, it would be to credit back a weeks worth of cost to offset our experience and the work and time we put in and offer a free airport pickup and drop-off, but it's hard to give up that kind of money when they didnt experience what we did first hand. But thats what I would have recommended. That AND an offer to use the car for our next trip within TWO years (because I doubt we will be back earlier) of at least that amount WITH all the changes above if a credit could NOT be given, but even a bit more as a gift for being such a great caring renter as we spent about $100 on cleaning and repairing the vehicle while we had it. The car rides great if you can bear through the rear tire noise and feel (sounds a little like a helicopter but not as loud as that double rear open windows helicopter sound, and the A/C is great both front and back and dual options for those who need it. Comfortable ride and big open. Space for plenty of luggage, people, groceries, etc. Best and biggest in its specific class that we compared at the price that she had it at. However for $1 more per day we saw a similar barely smaller trunked black seated car and $4 more per day we saw a 4 year newer same model (also with darker seats) although showed with less mpg - this one was said to have more than I experienced it with, but with perfect highway driving and bonuses of the A/C, I may have been able to have achieved 34 mpg, so I can see it possible, but was not my experience amd than extra $1-$4/day may have made the feel and experience all the better - especially without the need to repair, a glossier paint, a smoother quieter ride, all without the stress of worry about the protection of the white seats and the cigarette burned spots. Great for utility, but I do not recommend for a fresh clean exciting feel and experience of a newer rental vehicle immediately as is without the changes. Fix the scratches on the paint, the damage and extra raingaurd/ bumper right side and underneath buttons from the previous front accident, resolve the rear tires noise and feel along with the rest above & I believe it will create 5 star experiences across the board for all new renters in every which way - Barnone. But thats just my Class A advice. Not necessary as long as you are okay with a 4 star overall experience. But the owner was nice so I give her the 5. :) For the people I leave an informed review to help to know what you are getting before you choose as-is, & if there are changes, even better!
