Tesla Cybertruck 2024

Rented this Tesla Cybertruck and it was hands down one of the coolest driving experiences I’ve had. The truck looks even more impressive in person—be prepared for lots of attention and questions everywhere you go. Driving it was surprisingly easy. It’s smooth, powerful, and the acceleration is incredible for a vehicle this size. The interior is super clean and modern, and everything is controlled through the main screen, which took a minute to get used to but ended up being very intuitive. The host made the whole process seamless—great communication, easy pickup/drop-off, and the truck was spotless and ready to go. If you’re considering renting this Cybertruck, don’t hesitate. It’s such a fun, unique experience and definitely worth it.

Tesla Cybertruck 2024

This was the most stress-free and enjoyable experience I have had with a rental EVER! From pickup to drop-off everything was so easy and smooth. I never had to worry about anything. The directions are very clear, and the few questions I had I got answers very shortly. It was also one of the best driving experiences I have had in my life! It was perfect for every situation. The pedals and screen are not hard to get adjusted with especially if you've driven a Tesla before. 10/10 Rating!

Top tips for renting a truck in El Paso

Renting a truck in El Paso is simple and flexible with Turo. Skip the traditional airport counter, book through the app, and take your time loading up and getting comfortable before heading across the city or toward the open desert.

Tips for driving a truck in El Paso

Get comfortable with your truck size and features in advance: Areas like Downtown El Paso and roads leading up to Scenic Drive can be tight and winding. Whether you go for a pickup truck rental like the Ford F-150 or a Chevrolet Express moving van, be sure to get accustomed to the truck's unique features and technology for a safe journey.

Local tip: If you’re heading west toward New Mexico or planning a scenic drive, routes along the TransMountain Road (Loop 375) often offer lighter traffic compared to the central I-10, and will reward you with sweeping desert views.

What is parking a truck like in El Paso?

Parking a truck rental in El Paso is generally straightforward, with wider streets and more open lots than many major cities. In Downtown El Paso and popular spots like Chamizal National Memorial, spaces can be tighter, but many rental trucks offer cameras and parking aids to help navigate with ease.

How to choose the right type of truck for your El Paso trip

Truck size and drop-off flexibility are the main things to consider when exploring or working in El Paso, TX. Although larger cargo vans may be perfect for picking up and dropping off furniture, pickup trucks offer plenty of space for essential equipment on your desert escapade.

Loading a truck

Start with heavy items first to make unloading an easy task, and prevent shifting on tight downtown corners or bumpy highways near the Franklin Mountains. Security straps and bungee cords are often available to pack a moving truck or pickup truck for a safe and sturdy ride.

Gas stations and EV chargers in El Paso

Double-checking your fuel type is essential in your El Paso truck rental. While many trucks run on diesel and refueling is widely available, EV charging stations should be researched in advance, as availability can be more limited than traditional fuel stops.
