Nice clean car, pick up was great. Communication was great. Would rent again!
Juan is a great host. The Cybertruck was awesome and exceeded my expectations. I underestimated how good Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) system is, and the Supercharger network made long-distance travel incredibly convenient. For most of the trip, I actually preferred letting FSD do the driving rather than driving myself. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely rent from Juan again.
We have never used turo before and we were honestly nervous. However, David was great!! The truck we got was the truck in the photos, which was perfect because we actually wanted that specific truck. Hubby has a bad back and knee he could drive for long distances in this specific truck. Drop off and pick up were easy peasy! Truck was so clean and in perfect condition. HIGHLY recommend!!

Everything worked out great! Truck was perfect and communication was clear and prompt. Thanks!

Outstanding service. Had issues with the cybertruck and Cemal took care of it immediately and incredibly professionally

Nery's Ridgeline was clean and ready for easy check in when we arrived. Also simple to locate and access. It was remarkably easy to adapt to and drive. It was the perfect vehicle for our weekend in Vermont.

Great communications despite my need to cancel the car prior to taking delivery. Would definitely love to work with host again!

Good pick up easy to access and not too far from the airport, no hassle pick up and go.
Everything was excellent, dropped it off at the airport. Clean and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more. Great communication!

Truck was CLEAN and maintained exquisitely! The host was very flexible and not at all angry when I called at 1:00am cause I am unfamiliar with the airport! Also, there are a lot of trucks on the road in Boston, and I got quite a few compliments being a female and handling that truck 🤗 I will be in Boston more often since my son is attending college there in the Fall and I will DEFINITELY be a repeat customer.

No, you don't need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo. In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host's vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you'll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that's right for you. On each trip, you're covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.* In New York state, you'll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you're covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.
The scenic coastal route through Massachusetts toward Rhode Island showcases stunning Atlantic shoreline views and charming New England towns. Another favorite path leads west through Connecticut's rolling hills and historic villages, perfect for exploring with your rental car from Boston airport. The northern route toward New Hampshire and Vermont offers spectacular fall foliage and mountain vistas, making it ideal for seasonal road trips starting from Boston Logan.
Exit Boston Logan International Airport via the airport access road and follow signs toward Route 1A South, which connects directly to the Sumner Tunnel leading into downtown Boston. Your rental car will easily navigate the tunnel system, though be aware of height restrictions in certain parking areas once you reach the city center. Alternative routes include taking Route 90 West (Massachusetts Turnpike) for a slightly longer but often less congested path to downtown Boston locations.
Boston features narrow colonial-era streets mixed with modern highways, requiring careful attention to lane markings and signage throughout the city. Parking regulations are strictly enforced in downtown areas, with resident-only zones clearly marked in many neighborhoods. Massachusetts drivers tend to be assertive, so maintain confidence while navigating busy intersections and highway merges with your rental vehicle.
The Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) charges tolls electronically and provides direct access from Boston airport to western Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. Several tunnels connecting Boston Logan to downtown Boston also require toll payments, including the Ted Williams Tunnel and Callahan Tunnel. Most toll facilities accept electronic payment systems, making travel convenient for visitors with rental cars throughout the greater Boston area.
Renting a car at Boston Logan provides excellent cargo capacity for moving large items or equipment throughout Massachusetts and surrounding areas like Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York. A rental car offers superior versatility for both urban Boston locations and rural New England destinations, handling everything from furniture transport to outdoor gear hauling. The elevated driving position and robust build make rental cars ideal for navigating Boston's varied terrain and weather conditions year-round.
Multiple gas stations operate within East Boston, just minutes from the airport terminals, offering convenient fuel stops before returning your rental. Route 1A features several full-service stations with additional amenities like convenience stores and car washes for travelers. Downtown Boston locations also provide numerous fueling options, ensuring you can easily maintain your vehicle throughout your Massachusetts visit.
