I had an outstanding experience renting a car from Abdallah. From the very beginning, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The car was spotless, well maintained, and exactly as described. The entire rental process was smooth, transparent, and hassle free. What really made the difference was Abdallah’s exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and was always available to answer questions and help whenever needed. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers experience the way he does. I highly recommend renting from Abdallah to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle and first class service. Thank you so much, Abdallah, for making my trip easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. I will definitely rent from you again in the future!

Exceptional host!!! Would recommend Ruben without reservation! He cares about people and his cars! Thank you for the rental Reuben!

Very clean car, impressive for being 10 years old. Host was communicative and helpful. No airport delivery option it seemed but the price made it worth it. Full self driving was a bit aggressive, however I’m sure there was a setting that we missed. About 220 mile range. Overall - a sweet ride and good car.

Everything went smoothly! No issues, Brenden is thorough in his descriptions and so friendly! :) I drove his Mini Cooper a total of 220mi to Yakima where my friend lives and back again, and it only costed $42 to fill back to full even with the cost of Premium gas. :D Sunroof was rad! The bass in the car was loud and poppin! I think my favorite part of the car is that there's a cool light that comes from underneath each car door at night, and it illuminates your walkway as you're getting stuff out of the car. I don't know why that is the highlight for me but for some reason it's this tiny little thing that really moved me. :> I also appreciated the phone charger provided with 3 prongs for different phones provided as well as the phone holder. You would think more Turo rentals have these obvious helpful things, but they don't actually! Typically I only rent or drive Japanese/Korean cars so to be honest this car was pretty confusing for me at first, but as I became more comfortable with it I started to feel how fun it was getting to try out and feel the differences! :D I'm super thankful for the opportunity to rent and try out this car! ^0^ The only thing that I had a little trouble with was when I needed to return the car a tad early so I could go with my sisters to Bainbridge Island, and apparently Turo doesn't let you start the return process or post car photos in the app until the exact end time of my original booking. This isn't Brenden's fault though, so I just took photos in advance and put the keys away in the lockbox, and I plan to post them at my original scheduled end time via WiFi. [Edit: It worked! I'm posting this as we speak from afar! :) ] Overall, two thumbs up! I would do it again. d-(=w=)-b
Website and promos are incorrect in delivery of rental cars, however the service from Nizar was incredible. Website needs to to changed. Very happy with Nizar's service and the car was very clean.

Very communicative and professional host! Car was kept in peak condition and handled beautifully! Will certainly rent from this host again on my next trip - thank you!!

Can't beat a little Fiat, especially with gas at $6/gallon! My wife and I enjoyed taking the car to Olympic National Park and exploring the area. It was especially fun to park in the parking lot for hikes next to all the lifted Jeeps and Tacomas and then...a little blue Fiat! People even took pictures with the car because it was so unexpected! Also, this being a 1957 Edition makes it all the more special with nicer interior, color matched wheels, and overall finer details compared to a standard Fiat 500. It was a surprisingly practical vehicle for our week long trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Amazing Car And Host! I Would Definitely Rent Again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly and prompt. Great car, smooth ride and no hassle. Would rent again.

Ruben’s car was great, clean, and new. He was very helpful and communicative. Perfect car for a trip around the Pacific Northwest! Looking forward to renting with him again in the future. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could!

Great car, hosted were very communicative and responsive in a timely manner. Will rent again!

The car was very clean and ran great. I chose the king street station as my pick up/ drop off location. However, I wish I would have just chosen airport location to make things more streamlined. Overall satisfied with the trip.

Amazing experience from start to finish! The Lexus LC 2018 was in excellent condition, clean, well-maintained, and a pleasure to drive. The pickup and drop-off process was smooth and convenient, and the host was friendly, professional, and very responsive throughout the trip. I truly enjoyed every moment behind the wheel and would highly recommend both the car and the host to anyone looking for a memorable driving experience. Thank you!

Freaking fantastic, I hadn’t driven a Prius in over a decade so this reminded me of how economical they are. Host was great - I had to extend due to delays in my own car’s repair time. This was easy and the perfect solution to my car rental need this week. Thank you!

Loved this car and the host! Would rent again and highly recommend to others :)

When booking a rental car on Mercer Island, consider these helpful tips. Reserve early on Turo to secure the best selection. Choose a vehicle that suits your plans, whether it's a compact car for easy parking or an SUV for exploring nearby hiking trails. Look for extras like GPS navigation or a backup camera to make driving on the island more convenient. Consider a car with all-wheel drive if you plan to venture into the nearby Cascade Mountains. Remember to check for parking options at your accommodation, as some areas may have limited street parking.
Mercer Island offers several convenient pickup locations for rental cars through Turo. Guests can easily access these spots near popular areas like the Mercer Island Community and Event Center or the Mercer Island Park and Ride. Many hosts on Turo provide flexible pickup options, including residential areas and local businesses. To find the perfect rental car, guests can use Turo's user-friendly app or website to browse available vehicles and coordinate with hosts on Turo for the most suitable pickup location. Some hosts even offer delivery services, making it even more convenient for guests to start their Mercer Island adventure. Remember to communicate clearly with your host on Turo about the exact pickup details to ensure a smooth start to your rental experience.
Mercer Island offers several picturesque driving routes that showcase the area's natural beauty. The Island Crest Way provides a lovely north-south drive through the heart of Mercer Island, offering glimpses of lush forests and charming neighborhoods. For waterfront views, take a leisurely drive along West Mercer Way, which hugs the western shoreline and provides stunning vistas of Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline. East Mercer Way offers a quieter, more secluded route with peeks of the eastern shoreline. These routes are perfect for exploring in your rental car, allowing you to fully appreciate the island's serene atmosphere and natural wonders at your own pace.
Navigating peak hour traffic between Mercer Island and Seattle requires some strategy. When using your rental car, consider timing your trips outside of the busiest hours, typically 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM on weekdays. If you must travel during these times, use the HOV lanes on I-90 if eligible. Keep an eye on traffic apps for real-time updates and alternative routes. The Mercer Island Park and Ride offers a convenient option to park your rental car and use public transit into Seattle during peak hours. Remember, the floating bridge connecting Mercer Island to Seattle can experience congestion, so plan accordingly. By being flexible with your schedule and staying informed about traffic conditions, you can make your drive more enjoyable and efficient.
When driving your rental car between Mercer Island and nearby cities, it's important to be aware of potential tolls. The SR 520 Bridge, which connects Seattle to the Eastside, is a tolled route. However, the I-90 bridge, which directly connects Mercer Island to Seattle and Bellevue, is toll-free. If you're planning trips to areas north of Seattle or south towards Tacoma, you might encounter tolled express lanes on I-405. These tolls vary based on traffic conditions and time of day. It's advisable to plan your route in advance and consider using the toll-free I-90 when traveling between Mercer Island, Seattle, and Bellevue to avoid unexpected charges on your journey.
For exploring Mercer Island and its surroundings, versatile and comfortable vehicles are ideal. A mid-size SUV rental offers a great balance of comfort, visibility, and space for luggage or outdoor gear. If you're planning longer drives to nearby natural attractions, a fuel-efficient hybrid might be a smart choice. For those seeking a more luxurious experience, a premium sedan rental can provide a smooth ride for cruising the island's scenic routes. In the summer months, a convertible could be perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather and stunning views. Whatever your preference, choosing the right rental car can make your Mercer Island adventure more enjoyable and suited to your specific needs.
Mercer Island offers several convenient parking options for visitors exploring in their rental cars. The Mercer Island Community and Event Center provides ample parking for those visiting nearby parks or attending local events. When exploring the downtown area, you'll find street parking along SE 27th Street and 78th Avenue SE. For beach access, Luther Burbank Park offers a spacious parking lot. If you're planning to use public transit, the Mercer Island Park and Ride provides a large parking facility. Most residential areas have on-street parking, but be sure to check for any restrictions. Remember to always lock your rental car and avoid leaving valuables visible. With these options, you can easily park your rental car and enjoy Mercer Island's attractions worry-free.
When renting a car on Mercer Island, it's crucial to be prepared for the area's varied weather conditions. The Pacific Northwest experiences mild but rainy winters and generally dry summers. During the wet season (October to March), ensure your rental car has good windshield wipers and consider requesting all-season tires for better traction on wet roads. In summer, while generally mild, occasional heat waves can occur, so check that your rental car's air conditioning is functioning well. Year-round, it's wise to keep a light waterproof jacket in the car. Always check the weather forecast before setting out on longer drives, especially if venturing into the nearby Cascade Mountains where conditions can change rapidly. Being prepared will ensure a safe and comfortable driving experience in your rental car.
Driving on Mercer Island offers a more relaxed experience compared to Seattle's busy streets. The island's roads are generally less congested, with lower speed limits and fewer traffic lights, allowing for a more leisurely pace in your rental car. Unlike Seattle's grid system, Mercer Island's roads often curve to follow the island's topography, offering scenic views but requiring more attention to navigation. Parking is typically easier to find on Mercer Island, with more street parking available. However, the island has fewer major arterial roads, so familiarizing yourself with the main routes is important. When transitioning to Seattle in your rental car, be prepared for more traffic, one-way streets, and a greater need for parallel parking skills. Always stay alert for cyclists and pedestrians in both areas.
While Mercer Island itself has limited options for refueling your rental car, there are reliable choices available. The Mercer Island North Shopping Center, located near the I-90 interchange, houses a convenient gas station. For more options, consider fueling up before or after crossing the bridges to neighboring cities. Just east of the island in Bellevue, you'll find several gas stations along Bellevue Way SE. Similarly, west of Mercer Island in Seattle, there are multiple fueling options along Rainier Avenue S. When planning longer trips to nearby destinations, it's wise to check your rental car's fuel gauge and top up when convenient. Remember, keeping your tank at least a quarter full is a good practice, especially when exploring new areas in your rental car.
