Car was ok. Had some dings and chip on the windshield when we picked it up also the registration expired last May 2025

First, pick location was a considerable walk and ride with luggage from airport, unless we paid an additional $37 each way ($74 total), which was not disclosed originally.
Second, the car had a chip in the windshield, which had been repaired, but as in the vision of the driver.
Third, the oil check light came on on day two of the rental and indicated the vehicle was in need of an oil change….on day two of the rental.
Fourth, and most notably, the tire tread was exceptionally low. We had to take the car regardless as we were stuck with no other option besides going back to the airport. We had to meet others so we took the vehicle. Throughout the trip, it was evident tire tread was a concern, especially in rain. It seemed dangerous…..so during the trip, we had a tire tech check and the driver side front tire was at 2/32….dangerous level. The rear passenger side tire was at 3/32, also dangerous. The other two tires checked out at 7/32 and 4/32 (also cautionary level).
Ultimately, after multiple interactions with the host and Turo reps, we drove 4 hours out of our way to return the vehicle. Terrible experience all around. We should’ve just rented a vehicle from the airport as prices ended up comparable. Turo and host refunded partially for the rental, which as the only positive in this experience.
