Ford rental in Long Beach, CA

Car was perfect for my week stay in LA. Host greeted me at the car and was very nice and respectful. Car was extremely clean. Was a little on the rough side with the acceleration but overall would rent again. A HUGH PLUS is that it is flex fuel so that was a major help with the high gas prices in LA. Do not skip on this car rent it for the fuel savings, price, and host!

From the photo, this appears to be a Ford Transit High Roof passenger van. It looks clean, spacious, and well suited for larger groups. For a Turo host review, you could write: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great van and great experience! The Ford Transit was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group and luggage. The van drove smoothly and was exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the pickup and return process very easy. I would definitely rent from this host again and highly recommend it for family trips or larger groups. Thank you!

First time renting on Turo and I'm glad it was such an awesome experience! Our host was easy to communicate with; he tried to be as helpful as he can with everything from drop off/pickup to getting bluetooth to work. We rented this Ford Transit cuz we needed to fit 10 people on a trip to Las Vegas - 7 adults and 3 kids (two with car seats). Not only did it fit all of us comfortably, but we had so much room in the trunk for luggage too! The car was in great condition, it actually came with tinted windows, unlike the picture shown. Great for privacy and when the majority of our party wanted to fall asleep on the long car ride home! Lol. The inside was clean and very comfy. This might be helpful for people debating on renting from Turo or a regular rental car location - renting a car like this (Ford Transit) was about $500 cheaper than when I searched on car rental spots (even Costco), but a lot of personal car insurance companies won't cover ride sharing services like Turo, so you have to factor in buying their insurance. For me, the price with the additional insurance was still way cheaper than renting it from car rental spots, so we went with Turo. Hope this helps!

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday in America, and hiring Barry’s beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang was one of the absolute highlights of the entire trip. From the moment I saw it, I knew I’d made the right choice. By the end of the rental, it was a car I genuinely didn’t want to give back. First, Barry himself deserves enormous credit. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. As a mechanic with a real passion for classic cars, he knows this Mustang inside out, and it shows. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question I had, and made sure I felt completely comfortable before setting off. His enthusiasm is infectious, and you can tell he genuinely cares about both the car and the people who rent it. As for the Mustang - what can I say? It looks spectacular, sounds incredible, and turns heads wherever it goes. Everywhere we stopped, people came over to admire it, ask questions, and reminisce. It really is a rolling piece of American history. What impressed me most was how well it drove. The automatic gearbox makes it wonderfully relaxed and easy to enjoy, whether you’re cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway or driving through town. It changes gears smoothly, allowing you to soak up the unmistakable V8 soundtrack without constantly thinking about shifting. It’s exactly how a classic American muscle car should feel - effortless, comfortable, and full of character. Despite being nearly 60 years old, it’s equipped with modern conveniences, including remote central locking, Bluetooth and seatbelts oh and wing mirrors 😉. Of course, it still has charming period features like manual windows, but that’s all part of the authentic 1968 Mustang experience. You don’t rent this car expecting modern luxury; you rent it because you want to experience an icon, and this car delivers that in every possible way. If you’re considering booking this Mustang, don’t hesitate. Treat it with the respect it deserves, appreciate it for the classic it is, and you’ll have an unforgettable experience.
