I rented this car to pick up a family member from a military base. At the gate, an officer asked whether the car had been inspected. When I explained that it was a privately rented vehicle through Turo , the officer said that privately rented cars often have not been inspected. He allowed me onto the base with a warning. This had nothing to do with the host, Turo, or the condition of the vehicle, it was simply a base entry requirement. If you plan to drive onto a military base in Fort Lee, I recommend checking that base’s vehicle requirements beforehand. The pickup instructions were very clear. The car had not been vacuumed, but it was mostly minor debris from normal use. There were also a few personal items like lotion in the glove compartment and center console nothing excessive and there was a charger which was nice! Didn’t fit my phone but still a nice thought! Since I arrived after 8 p.m. in the rain, I noticed that the windshield wipers could have worked a wee bit better. Overall, I felt very comfortable and safe in the car. It was spacious, easy to drive, and easy to park. The headlights worked very well while driving on dark roads. Virginia is not a state that has street lights on every road. Highbeams and good working headlights are a plus! Thankful for that! The A/C worked amazingly, probably my favorite part! As someone who gets hot easy in the humidity. the radio and speakers sounded great, and connecting my phone through Bluetooth was easy. I had no maintenance issues or breakdowns during my trip. Levi was very communicative and accommodating with my pickup time, and drop-off was just as easy. This was my first time using Turo, and I would definitely use it again and rent from Levi in the future. I used about a half tank my whole trip of 3 days and it’s GREAT ON GAS! Before returning the car, I washed and vacuumed it and filled the gas tank.
Car was a Toyota, that and Tesla's are all I ever rent from Turo. Host's rental was a great value. Host was very accommodating. He rushed to drop his car off when my flight landed early.

After only have rented cars from rental companies, I was very hesitant to try Turo, but Can made this renting experience the best one yet. After a long flight from DFW to RIC the car was already parked for an easy and swift pickup! The car drove flawlessly and was by far one of the best I’ve driven! 10/10 experience is an understatement, will definitely be renting again!
