Car worked and pick up was easy. But could use some work on suspension/rotors. Can’t complain too much for the price.

Car in excellent condition. Clean interior. Liang makes pick up and drop off super convenient, and avoid messing with shuttle to rental cars. Have now booked with Liang twice and will do so next time I am need car rental at LGA

Car was ok. Great for my trip. Right mirror was not working unfortunately and the trunk smells a bit. Also the driver’s seat starts shaking at 40mph a bit. Paint is chipping on exterior but nothing was really a big deal. overall the car was very drivable and friendly. Pickup and drop off was super ez.

For my first trip with Turo, Jay was great and very communicative. Vehicle was clean, handled well., but did have a few chips and scratches on the vehicle at pickup. Jay was great with the upfront documentation needed, but I was a little bummed about the navigation/bluetooth connectivity options being put behind an add-on package to the trip, as that is now standard in modern vehicles from other rental chains. The self driving add-on made sense due to the extra price the owner would take on to get that software for the vehicle through Tesla.
B&C Car Rentals is the best car rental service I have ever used! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE & EXCELLENT CARS - that are in great condition, clean and great on gas. The owners are professional and wonderful people who strive to make your trip a easy and great experience. Only using them from now on if possible!!!!! 10/10 🙌🏽
I appreciate this rental. The vehicle was clean with no mechanical problems. Comfortable ride. The host was very pleasant and polite with pick-up and drop off. Not use to picking up rentals from the home of the host. I was a little uncomfortable at first but it worked out well. I had to spend $100 to UBER to the car and back to the airport. Otherwise, excellent rental!

Car was immaculate and the host was great with pick up and drop off. Highly recommend.
Great car and wonderful host. The pick-up and drop-off process was seamless. The host is friendly and checked in to make sure everything went smoothly

Great communication, super clean car with amazing gas mileage. Very clear instructions for pick up and drop off.

Pickup and drop Off is a bit cumbersome. Wish someone came to the terminal with the car for pick up and drop off

Kevin was a terrific host. Punctual. Accommodating and his vehicle was clean and ran smoothly. Will definitely use him again for our next trip to NY

Excellent Turo host. He went above and beyond by dropping the car off at airport arrivals and meeting us at departure, making the whole process seamless. Great communication and overall experience. Highly recommend! - Also a fun car to drive.

The car quality was great! Easy to get around in. The pickup location was convenient for me. The host was great! No complaints!

Remember to rent a comfortable vehicle suited for longer drives, such as a luxury car or SUV, to enhance your journey. Always check local traffic updates before setting out, and plan your route to avoid congested areas, especially during peak hours.
Navigating New York City's peak hour traffic requires strategy and patience. Utilize real-time traffic apps to stay informed about congestion and alternative routes. Consider adjusting your travel times to avoid the busiest periods, typically early mornings and late afternoons. When renting a car, opt for one with good maneuverability, such as a compact car or SUV, which can be easier to handle in tight city streets. Familiarize yourself with major thoroughfares and bridges before your trip. Remember that parking can be challenging, so research parking options in advance. Lastly, remain calm and courteous – New York drivers appreciate considerate behavior on the road.
Fresh Meadows and its surrounding areas offer various parking options for visitors. Many residential streets in Fresh Meadows have free parking, but be sure to check signage for any restrictions. For more secure options, consider using parking garages or lots near major shopping centers or transportation hubs. When venturing into busier parts of Queens or Manhattan, look for municipal parking facilities, which often offer reasonable rates. Some areas have metered street parking, so keep coins or a payment app handy. If you've rented a larger vehicle like an SUV or van, seek out lots that accommodate bigger cars. Always factor in extra time for finding parking, especially in popular areas or during events.
When driving in unfamiliar locations like Fresh Meadows and New York City, preparation is key. Familiarize yourself with local traffic laws and common road signs before your trip. Use a reliable GPS system or smartphone app for navigation, but be prepared with a backup plan in case of technical issues. In busy urban areas, stay alert for pedestrians, cyclists, and sudden traffic changes. When renting a car, choose one you're comfortable maneuvering in tight spaces. Be mindful of street cleaning schedules and parking regulations to avoid fines. Lastly, maintain a calm and patient attitude – New York traffic can be unpredictable, so flexibility is essential for a stress-free driving experience.
For exploring Fresh Meadows and the greater New York area, versatility and maneuverability are key factors to consider when choosing a vehicle. A compact or mid-size car is often ideal for navigating city streets and finding parking in tight spaces. If you're planning day trips to surrounding areas, a comfortable sedan or small SUV might be more suitable, offering a balance of fuel efficiency and space. For larger groups or families, a minivan can provide ample room for passengers and luggage. If you're looking to make a statement in the city, a luxury car rental can add a touch of sophistication to your trip. Whatever your choice, ensure it's equipped with good air conditioning for those warm New York summers.
Preparing for weather conditions in Fresh Meadows requires consideration of all four seasons. In winter, ensure your rental car is equipped with all-season or winter tires for better traction on snowy or icy roads. Always have an ice scraper and snow brush on hand. Spring and fall can bring unexpected rain showers, so check that your windshield wipers are in good condition. Summer can be hot and humid, making air conditioning essential in your rental car. Regardless of the season, it's wise to keep a small emergency kit with essentials like a flashlight and basic first-aid supplies. Always check the weather forecast before setting out on day trips or longer excursions, and adjust your driving plans accordingly to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Navigating Fresh Meadows' city streets versus nearby rural backroads presents distinct challenges. In Fresh Meadows, expect more traffic lights, one-way streets, and pedestrian crossings. City driving requires constant alertness for sudden stops and lane changes. Parking can be limited, so be prepared to search for spots. In contrast, rural backroads offer a more relaxed driving experience with fewer traffic controls. However, they may have limited lighting and narrower lanes, requiring extra caution, especially at night. When renting a car, consider how it will handle in both environments. A compact car or SUV might be versatile for both settings. Remember to adjust your speed accordingly – slower in busy city areas and maintain safe speeds on rural roads where wildlife may be present.
Fresh Meadows and its surrounding areas offer numerous reliable gas stations to keep your rental car fueled up. Major intersections and thoroughfares typically have well-maintained stations from recognized brands. Look for stations along Union Turnpike or Horace Harding Expressway for convenient refueling. Many of these locations also offer convenience stores for snacks and basic supplies. When venturing out for day trips, it's wise to plan your route with fuel stops in mind, especially if heading towards less populated areas. Some stations in the New York City area may have slightly higher prices, so comparing costs can be beneficial. Remember to familiarize yourself with your rental car's fuel type and tank location before heading to the pump to ensure a smooth refueling experience.
