Everything was easy and Carolyn was terrific . Excellent easy to rent vehicle. Hassle free and guaranteed my car choice where big rental car companies could not ( enterprise, Avis. Hertz couldn’t and price very reasonable too! ). Thanks Carolyn.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND! Absolutely fantastic trip. You are not getting a better mid-large size SUV in this price range. Super clean. The type of unit where you automatically start treating it like its yours and taking real good care of it. My kids liked it so much I ended up extending from 5 days to nearly 3 weeks. The host could not have been more kind or easy to deal with. Very responsive. I can't wait to get my own M car!
This was my first time ever driving a Mazda, and my son and I absolutely LOVED it! We went to pumpkin patches , truck or treats , movies & dinner over the weekend 🥹❤️ The Mazda CX-5 was a great ride, comfortable for family , and perfect for spending some extra quality time together. I even extended my rental for an additional day because we were enjoying our experience so much! The host was very nice, professional, and quick to respond whenever I needed anything. Communication was excellent, and the entire rental process was smooth and stress free from beginning to end. I truly appreciate the great customer service and the wonderful experience. I will DEFINITELY be booking with this host again! If you’re thinking about renting, BOOK WITH THIS HOST! 💯 10,000/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🚗❤️
Absolutely perfect trip!! Great communication and felix made everything as convenient and seamless as possible. If you need a car, I highly recommend, especially for the really good price
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice car with a smooth ride and well worth the price! You can tell the owners take pride in keeping their vehicle clean and well maintained for the next person to enjoy. I truly respect and appreciate that. I would definitely rent from them again!
Great experience overall! The car was clean, well-kept, and drove really smoothly. The host was great and made both pickup and drop-off super easy and convenient. I’ll admit I was a little hesitant at first, because a trip was canceled before but I’m glad I went ahead with the rental because everything went smoothly from start to finish. No issues at all, and I would definitely rent from this host again!
I had a great experience renting this car! The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. The pickup and drop-off process was smooth and easy, and everything went exactly as expected. The car drove perfectly and made my trip comfortable and stress-free. Nice, reliable, and very clean ride! Mr. Felix was a great host very responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. He made the entire rental process smooth, simple, and stress-free. I would definitely rent from him again and highly recommend him!
This Was A Great Car For My Trip , Great On Gas , I Had No Problems , Host responded quickly. Definitely Would Rent Again
The price of the car was higher than advertised and the car interior was a bit dirty and stained but the it got the job done. The check out process was a bit confusing since we were told by the car rental place all we had to do was have someone inspect the vehicle and we were good to go. But then I received a message that we were past time of return because I didn’t complete the return on the app. So it would be helpful if the place would have let us know there were 2 return processes since we are newer to the app. Other than that is was easy enough. Will definitely use Turo again.
Great hosts and car, will definitely rent from them again if I am in the area!
Car was amazing!! Charging the car was a hassle but with the owner help I got it done! Communication was super great! He answered every time I called. I will definitely rent again from him. Thank you so much again for everything

Frequently asked questions in Lantana
Why choose an SUV for your Lantana adventure?
SUVs provide elevated seating that offers excellent views of Florida's coastal scenery as you explore Lantana and nearby Palm Beach destinations. The spacious cargo area accommodates beach gear, luggage, and shopping finds from your South Florida adventures. Higher ground clearance helps navigate occasional flooding during Florida's rainy season, while air conditioning systems efficiently cool larger interiors in the subtropical climate.
How do you handle an SUV on Florida roads?
Florida's wide highways and generous parking spaces accommodate SUVs comfortably, from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach areas. Take extra care in compact beach parking areas near Lantana, where tight spaces require patience and precision. The higher center of gravity means taking curves more gradually, especially on coastal roads where crosswinds from the Atlantic can affect larger vehicles.
What weather challenges do SUVs face in Lantana?
Florida's intense summer heat requires running air conditioning continuously, which increases fuel consumption in larger SUV engines. Afternoon thunderstorms create sudden downpours that reduce visibility, making SUV headlights and windshield wipers essential safety features. Strong coastal winds near Palm Beach International Airport and Hollywood International can push SUVs sideways, requiring firm steering control.
Which destinations suit SUV road trips from Lantana?
SUVs excel for family trips to Orlando theme parks, providing comfort for long drives and space for souvenirs. Beach destinations like Delray Beach and Boynton Beach benefit from SUV cargo capacity for umbrellas, coolers, and water sports equipment. Miami's diverse neighborhoods become more accessible with an SUV's secure storage for shopping bags and camera gear.
Are family SUVs different from adventure SUVs?
Family SUVs prioritize passenger comfort with features like rear entertainment systems and multiple cup holders for Florida road trips. Adventure SUVs focus on cargo flexibility and weather protection for outdoor gear when exploring South Florida's nature preserves. Both types offer excellent air conditioning performance, crucial for comfortable travel in Florida's humid climate year-round.
What SUV safety features should you know?
Blind spot monitoring proves invaluable on busy Florida highways between Fort Lauderdale Airport and Palm Beach areas. Backup cameras help navigate crowded beach parking lots in Lantana where compact cars and pedestrians create visibility challenges. Electronic stability control prevents rollovers during sudden maneuvers, particularly important when avoiding Florida's frequent afternoon storm debris.
What kind of license do I need to rent a car on Turo?
Turo accepts valid licenses (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allow for full driving privileges; this includes driver's licenses issued outside of the US. Licenses that Turo doesn't accept in the US include any that have expired, have been altered, are conditional, probational, provisional, or restricted. Learner's permit/instruction permits are not accepted.
How does car rental insurance work on Turo?
No, you don't need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo. In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host's vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you'll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that's right for you. On each trip, you're covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.* In New York state, you'll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum.
