I rented a car from Ebrahim, and he was helpful to me in every way; he is truly an excellent host. His car was perfect and trouble-free—I was extremely satisfied. It was the best car rental experience I’ve had in Los Angeles, and I will be renting from him again now. Thank you very much!
Excellent trip car runs great and the owner is very responsive and keeps the car in great condition. If you need a rental car he is the man to go to. Highly recommended!!!

This is such a fun car to drive! It was spotless inside and pristine outside. Fully charges in just over 30 minutes, and 30 minutes of charging is included in the rental fee. Lenworth was quickly responsive for a couple of hiccups along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed this vehicle and would rent again.

Danny was an amazing host from start to finish. Super friendly, available, accommodating, and made everything very easy for me. The Mercedes S550e was incredibly comfortable, smooth to drive, and had great gas mileage as well. You can tell he really cares about making sure everything goes perfectly. I’m visiting from Paris, France, and when I come back to California, I’ll most likely rent this car again. Thanks again Danny!

The car was very clean and well kept. I suddenly needed a car, and this rental really helped me. Thank you so much.

I enjoyed driving this car. John was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely rent from him again.

I rented the car long-term, and the host was very responsive, kind, and helpful. I would definitely rent from him again. Thank you!

Host was great! Very nice! Car drives very good!! Beau is always on point with the responses and support! Will rent a car again!
This has got to be the worst rental car experience I’ve ever had. The car shows to be available at Long Beach Airport, so we ubered there and the owner tells us it can be “delivered” within 2 hours or we can go to his location for pickup. So to save some time, we ubered to his location to pickup. On the day of return, we scheduled for LAX return, and he sent us a location, which once we arrived he told us we needed to get another uber to our actual terminal since we were late due to the traffic. “There’s no door to door service” they said. We thought there would be a shuttle service or something like a normal rental car company. They even told us “Do your research”. As I promised. I left a 5 star research. But folks, don’t forget to “do your research” and never get a turo if you are actually in a hurry or expecting this to work like a traditional car rental company.
Car was in good condition, easy check in process, and no problems were had. Will rent from again

Car quality was great, runs great. Pick up location was great and the host was helpful during pickup and drop off. Most likely will rent again. Thanks.

Great car. Amazing host. Paul was responsive and helpful at all times and checking in often. Great customer service. Will rent again.

Pickup near or at Airports
From toll roads to the most convenient spots to park, take in these top tips for driving in Van Nuys before you settle behind the wheel of your car.
As a suburb of Los Angeles, Van Nuys follows standard California road rules, most of which are observed across the US. Obey posted speed limits, adhere to road signs, wear your seat belt, and, importantly, drive on the right-hand side of the road. Speed limits in California start at around 25 miles per hour (mph) in residential areas, followed by 35 to 45 mph on city streets and 55 to 65 mph on freeways like the I-405 and US-101.
Handheld mobile phone use is strictly prohibited and penalized throughout California, so be sure to only use your device hands-free if relying on GPS. It's permitted to make a right-hand turn at a red light throughout the state, but only after coming to a complete stop and confirming there are no pedestrians or traffic in the intersection. If you witness a school bus with flashing red lights, you must stop for it.
Traffic conditions will depend on the time of day and which roads you're navigating, but as a rule, expect commuter periods to be extremely busy. Always plan extra travel time if you're traveling during these peaks, which are usually between 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm. Ventura Boulevard, the 405, and the Valley Freeway on-ramps tend to be the most congested spots, whereas residential streets are often quieter.
The surrounding hills and San Fernando Valley occasionally bring fog and rain to the LA area, but generally, the weather is mild year-round. If you're driving in the rain, keep a safe distance from the cars in front of you and watch out for any debris on the road.
While parking in downtown LA can be a mission to navigate, Van Nuys is much calmer, with street spots, outdoor lots, and a handful of public garages readily available. You may be able to park your rental vehicle on a major road — but if not, there's ample parking to be found down side streets.
Prefer a parking lot? Try Public Parking Lot #610 or the secure Friar & Sylmar Parking Garage. Malls and commercial buildings in Van Nuys almost always have their own lots or easily accessible parking nearby.
No, there aren't any toll roads in Van Nuys. However, if you plan on driving throughout Southern California, you may encounter freeways or bridges that are tolled. Before you leave the Valley, check your route on a navigation app.
Both gas and charging are readily available throughout Van Nuys and the rest of the Los Angeles area. To fill up your tank, head to one of several convenient stations along major roads.
For electric vehicle (EV) charging, there are stations and chargers scattered throughout the suburb, like the AmpUp, the ChargePoint, and the Shell Recharge. Other chargers can be found in small parking lots and garages, making it easy to top up during your trip.
Though public transit exists in Los Angeles, it's notoriously sparse and inconvenient — so renting a car here is your best bet. With a rental vehicle booked on Turo, you can cruise through the suburbs, head down to the beach, explore downtown Los Angeles, or visit nearby hiking trails and mountain routes at your leisure. Most residents own cars, and though the LA traffic can be a pain, driving is by far the most convenient way to get around.
