Car rental in Newport Beach, CA

Excellent car, communicative host. I picked up the car with minimial difficulty near the SNA airport and returned it on time with. It is basically a new car with XM radio and good AC. I guess I didn't follow the correct procedure to return the car (the app sends me some message to open an app that has no "return" button), but I complained about some fee that was added 30 minutes later and it was removed. I think the Turo app can be made easier to use but seems to be mainly selling add ons like the other car rental companies. Turo has not yet reached the point of commoditization (like uber, airbnb, etc.) that makes the rates the same as the old economy companies so I will use it again until it does.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic experience from start to finish! The car was exactly as described—very clean, well-maintained, and drove perfectly throughout our trip. The host was exceptional: friendly, responsive, and quick to answer any questions we had, making the entire rental process seamless and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. When we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely rent from this host again. Highly recommend!

Pickup was easy, and the car ran smoothly without issue for my 2-week rental period. The host was very responsive. The car itself is fine for the price. The radio display doesn’t work and the brakes squeak a bit, but it does the job. Would rent again!

Ekaterina is an amazing host! She responds incredibly fast and makes the entire rental process smooth and stress-free. Both pickup and return were quick and easy, and her instructions were clear and detailed. Refueling was also very convenient thanks to the helpful guidance she provided. The car was spotless and in excellent condition. Even though it’s a 2019 model, the interior looks and feels almost brand new. It was clean, comfortable, and drove perfectly throughout my trip. Overall, this was one of the best Turo experiences I’ve had. I highly recommend renting from Ekaterina, and I will definitely book this car again in the future. I always usually rent my cars with the same hosts but I had to look elsewhere for this last rental. I could not have had a better experience renting with Alex. Car is in immaculate condition and runs like a dream!! Had a smooth drive to Vegas and back. Alex was also helpful with me needing to extend the car for a few hours. Pick up and drop off was easy and smooth. Will definitely be renting with Alex again and would recommend to anyone! 100/10⭐️

Excellent car for this price. The parking brake is a little stiff but you can get it to work by pulling it up slightly before driving. No issues otherwise.
