During spring and fall, be prepared for sudden weather changes by familiarizing yourself with your SUV rental's various driving modes and traction control features. In summer, when roads are dry, take advantage of your SUV's higher vantage point to enjoy scenic views, but remain cautious on winding mountain roads. Be mindful of overhanging branches or low awnings that may not be an issue for smaller cars. Take advantage of your SUV rental's higher seating position to scan for open spaces from afar. Consider parking slightly further from your destination where spaces might be more abundant and walking the extra distance. Always check for any parking restrictions or time limits in the downtown area. With these tips, maneuvering your SUV rental in Whitefish's charming downtown becomes much more manageable.
