My family and I rented Nicole's Passport for 10 days and it was a perfect vehicle for our trip to Alaska. It was clean, ran perfectly and was comfortable. Nicole was responsive and helpful and even met us curbside to get the car back, which was awesome. Less expensive than rental SUVs in Alaska and a great experience. Would recommend.

Chad was amazing! He was incredibly accommodating throughout the rental process. I arrived feeling anxious after a long day of travel, but he made it easy for me. He even met me at baggage claim to pick up the car, which meant a lot since I had been traveling all day. His kindness and willingness to meet my needs made the experience so much smoother and less stressful. I truly appreciate the time and effort he dedicated to making this rental seamless. I highly recommend renting from Chad! This level of service isn’t always the case with Turo, but Chad really went out of his way, and I appreciate that.
Car quality, communication and pickup location everything was spot on for this Turo rental. Doug and Angie are excellent hosts. They provided me timely updates from the moment I booked the rental. This was my first time booking through Turo, I am used to booking through traditional rental companies such as Enterprise, Alamo etc. Doug and Angie made sure everything was communicated well in advance and in great details so there’s no last minute surprises. Exact pickup location and detailed step by step guidance was provided to ensure smooth pickup. The car was in good condition and overall the experience was great. I will definitely book with them when I return to Anchorage/Alaska!
Car was great and easy to get to in the garage. Older car with 193k miles but drove great. My only issue was that I declined extra coverage weeks prior to the trip and the owner requested a copy of my insurance for proof it covers rental cars, 20 mins prior to us picking up the car- so as soon as I got off the plane. They stated that they couldn’t leave the car without verifying our insurance covered rentals or I would need to get coverage. That wasn’t fun to deal with while walking through the Anchorage airport worried that they would cancel the car and we would then have to figure out a rental car at the last minute. If that was a requirement to see a copy of my insurance, I wish it was requested earlier. I had to pay an extra $375 for the coverage through Turo. I’ve used Turo multiple times and have declined the extra coverage and haven’t been asked for a copy of my insurance so I wasn’t expecting it. The owner also stated that there were rocks and dirt on the tires and they might have to charge me. It is Alaska, our rental house was off a dirt road, lots of activities are off dirt roads, so rocks and dirt are pretty hard to avoid!

This was the best rental decision I could have ever made! Not only for the excellent price but for the vehicle. It was the perfect size, great gas mileage and the customer care her and her husband made to ensure our vacation was perfect! I can only say that there is no way you would receive the courtesy we received by Hannah and her husband by any rental service. I’m so pleased I canceled with a chain rental and chose them. This was in thanks to Dennis at the ATV Adventure from Talkeetna who referred us to Turo! Thank you for your services and I will definitely be in touch for my annual visit to Alaska!

Great car and a really easy experience. The Sorento was super clean, comfortable, had plenty of room, and drove great. Yevgeny was really easy to deal with and quick to respond anytime I had a question. Pickup and drop-off were simple too. Definitely a solid Turo rental. I’d rent from him again for sure.

I rented the Honda CR-V during my trip to Alaska, and it was a great vehicle for the entire trip. It was clean, comfortable, reliable, and handled the Alaska roads really well. I did quite a bit of driving and exploring, and the CR-V made getting around easy and enjoyable. It had plenty of room for my luggage and everything I needed for the trip, while still being easy to drive and park. The vehicle was exactly what I needed for Alaska, especially with the longer drives and changing road conditions. I had absolutely no issues during my rental and would definitely rent this CR-V again. Overall, a great experience and a great vehicle for exploring Alaska!
The car met our needs well. I was concerned that the host did not confirm the reservation until the actual start time of the reservation. When we arrived (a few minutes after the scheduled start time), the car was not ready, but the delay was just a few minutes. When we arrived, some workers at the pick up location were arguing and yelling at each other with inappropriate language. I don’t know that we ever actually met our host.
Lynn was an absolutely fantastic host! We rented her Jeep for the week during our Alaska trip, and it couldn’t have worked out better. The Jeep was clean, comfortable, dependable, and perfect for getting around and exploring Alaska. Lynn made the entire process incredibly easy from start to finish. Communication was great, pickup and drop-off were simple, and everything was exactly as described. Having a reliable vehicle made a huge difference on our trip and allowed us to just enjoy the week without worrying about transportation.
