Beautiful car. Very clean and easy to acquire vehicle. Will rent again if necessary! Thanks again.

Great host good communication. Car was nice, clean, and fully loaded. Would rent again
We had a blast renting Danail's Jeep! It was new, comfortable, clean and really fun. He takes great care of it and great pride in sharing it with others. Danail's communication was excellent and I would absolutely rent from him again!

Simple car does the job, only downside is speakers are blown but it was fine to still listen. Pickup location was a little confusing but was able to find it with the help of instructions and clear communication with the owners! Pick up and drop off procedures straightforward and easy. Thank you so much.

Great car!! No issues with the driving. Just the speaker system is a little blown.

Great host and car was very nice. He made it extremely smooth to pickup and return. Highly recommend his services 👌

Excellent host and timely replies to any questions I had. I absolutely loved the car. The car ran smoothly with no issues at all and it is in great condition. It connected easily to bluetooth and Android Auto. A successful rental.

Cape Cod offers an incredible array of attractions easily accessible by rental car from Barnstable Municipal Airport. You can explore historic Provincetown's vibrant arts scene, discover the stunning dunes of Cape Cod National Seashore, or wander through Chatham's quaint downtown filled with boutique shops. The scenic Cape Cod Rail Trail provides beautiful cycling opportunities, while Hyannis offers ferry connections to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. An SUV gives you the perfect vantage point to enjoy coastal vistas while providing space for all your beach essentials and travel companions.
Cape Cod National Seashore stretches along the outer Cape, featuring miles of unspoiled beaches, towering sand dunes, and diverse wildlife habitats. The seashore encompasses several beaches including Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light Beach, each offering unique coastal experiences. You'll find ample parking areas throughout the seashore, though they can fill quickly during peak summer months. The elevated seating position in your SUV allows you to spot whales offshore during migration seasons and provides excellent views of the dramatic cliff formations. Salt marshes and cranberry bogs create stunning scenery as you drive through this protected landscape.
Provincetown sits at the very tip of Cape Cod, known for its thriving arts community, historic significance as the Mayflower's first landing site, and stunning harbor views. Commercial Street bustles with galleries, theaters, and unique shops housed in centuries-old buildings. The Provincetown Monument towers above the town, offering panoramic views of the surrounding waters. Parking can be challenging in the compact downtown area, so arriving early in the day proves beneficial for securing a convenient spot near the main attractions.
Chatham represents the epitome of Cape Cod elegance with its tree-lined Main Street featuring historic inns, boutique shops, and the iconic Chatham Lighthouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The town's Friday night band concerts on Kate Gould Park draw locals and visitors together for community celebrations. Chatham Fish Pier provides fascinating glimpses into the area's active fishing industry, where you can watch boats unload their daily catches. Your SUV handles the town's narrow streets comfortably while offering excellent visibility of the beautiful shingled homes and manicured gardens that define this coastal community. The elevated driving position helps you navigate the sometimes confusing network of one-way streets in the historic downtown area.
Hyannis serves as Cape Cod's transportation hub, offering ferry services to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket islands. The harbor area features numerous restaurants, shops, and the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum celebrating the family's deep connection to Cape Cod. Main Street Hyannis provides excellent shopping and dining opportunities within walking distance of the ferry terminals. Several parking areas accommodate day-trippers taking island excursions, though reservations are recommended during busy summer months.
Wellfleet combines spectacular beaches with a thriving shellfish industry that produces some of the East Coast's finest oysters. The town's bayside and oceanside beaches offer completely different experiences, from calm bay waters perfect for families to dramatic Atlantic surf. Wellfleet Drive-In Theatre provides nostalgic entertainment under the stars, while the town center features art galleries and seafood restaurants celebrating local harvests. Your SUV provides the ground clearance needed for some of the more rustic beach access roads and parking areas. The spacious interior accommodates beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers for perfect days by the water, whether you choose the gentle bay side or the more adventurous ocean beaches.

No, you don't need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo. In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host's vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you'll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that's right for you. On each trip, you're covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.* In New York state, you'll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. Route 6A offers a scenic coastal drive through historic Cape Cod towns, perfect for exploring in your rental car with stops at lighthouses and beaches. The Outer Cape route via Route 6 leads to Provincetown, showcasing dramatic dunes and seaside vistas ideal for SUV adventures. For a luxury sedan road trip, consider the inland routes through Sandwich and Falmouth, featuring charming New England villages and cranberry bogs.
Massachusetts requires all vehicle occupants to wear seat belts, and drivers must yield right-of-way to pedestrians in crosswalks throughout the Cape Cod region. Speed limits are strictly enforced, with residential areas typically posted at 25-30 mph and highways at 55-65 mph. Your rental car must come to a complete stop at red lights and stop signs, and right turns on red are permitted unless otherwise posted.
The Cape Cod gateway airport area does not have toll roads on the immediate Cape Cod peninsula itself. However, drivers heading off-Cape toward Boston will encounter tolls on the Massachusetts Turnpike and various bridges. Most toll facilities accept electronic payment systems, making travel convenient for visitors with a rental car.
