Pickup & return areas at Pittsburgh International Airport

Coordinating your car rental pickup and return at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is as easy as catching a Steel City sunset. Your Turo host will arrange for you to either collect your rental from the Short-term Garage on levels 2 or 3, or from the Long-Term, Economy, or Extended Lots. Be sure to confirm the specific parking location beforehand via the Turo app for a smooth car rental experience. When you return your car to Pittsburgh Airport, you'll need to pull a parking ticket and leave it in your rental car so your host can leave the parking garage.

Parking & airport fees

When you rent a car on Turo at Pittsburgh International Airport, PIT requires Turo to collect and remit to the airport a fee that allows your host to deliver a vehicle there. Turo doesn't set this fee, mark it up, or retain any portion of it. Parking fees at Pittsburgh International Airport are not covered by Turo — if your host requires you to cover this cost, they must let you know in their Turo vehicle listing.

When driving in Pittsburgh, be aware of local traffic laws. Always drive on the right side of the road and follow posted speed limits, typically 35 miles per hour (mph) in the city and up to 70 mph on highways. Yield to pedestrians at crosswalks, use turn signals, and be mindful of bicyclists. Traffic can become heavy during rush hours, especially on routes like I-376 and I-279, so plan accordingly.

Remember that with a car rental on Turo, only permitted additional drivers can operate the vehicle, so be sure to add them to your reservation beforehand.

On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*

In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.
