I had some minor issues with the car but the host was super responsive and I was able to address them quickly which didn’t impact my travel. The car was very clean when I picked it up. Pickup and drop off were very seamless. I would rent from Diego again.
I really enjoyed renting Ivan's Tesla - | loved it so much that I even extended my trip. This was my first time driving a Tesla, and the pickup process with Ivan was super easy. He's very responsive, understanding, and made everything smooth from start to finish. I will definitely rent from him again. There were way more positives than negatives. The car is beautiful, drives great, has amazing AC, and honestly made me want to buy a Tesla. My friends loved it too. For transparency, the battery life wasn't the best so I had to recharge multiple times, the car made a few small noises, and one of the windows adjustment buttons was broken. The scratches on the car didn't bother me at all. So… Amazing host, Great experience and a car that made my whole trip better. Five stars !

Great host and very easy rental experience. Serge was responsive, clear with pickup and drop off instructions, and flexible with coordination. The car was clean, as described, and everything went smoothly during the trip. Would definitely rent from him again.

This was an awesome rental experience! The car was spotless and exactly as described. Pickup and drop-off were incredibly convenient, making the whole trip stress-free. The host’s communication was excellent—they responded quickly and kept everything clear from start to finish. I would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend them to anyone using Turo!
Car was nice and clean drove great, host was great and easy to work with. Pickup and drop off was clear and easy. Great trip would rent from again

Super fun car to rent and drive. Communicative owner and I was grateful I could extend the trip as my schedule kept changing. I look forward to renting from him again! Thank you!🙏🏽

Another great trip, easy pick up/drop off, car in good condition. Would rent again!

Jamar was incredibly responsive from booking through drop-off, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The car was very clean inside and out, clearly well cared for, and matched the listing perfectly. It drove amazingly throughout the trip, with no issues and a very comfortable ride. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely rent from Jamar again and highly recommend him to other Turo guests.

10/10 car and delivery to the area right near me. Have been using Turo for more than 5 years and this was the easiest and best experience and a great car

Had a great trip with Ivan and his team!! They were very communicative and professional and had all the info ready for me and the car ready to go. They kindly offer up to an hour of grace time for dropping back off which is very kind in NY area traffic. Car is great to drive, and is in good condition. My only very minor complaint was not having a cord to plug the car in, as it led to a lot of charging issues when I was so far from a big town, but they did provide a universal adapter I could use at any EV charging. I would definitely rent again!
Had a great experience renting this car. The pickup was well coordinated and made the whole process easy from the start. The car was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. Drop-off was just as smooth, and I had no issues throughout the trip. Would definitely rent from this host again!

Book early on Turo to secure the best vehicle options for navigating New York's diverse terrain and traffic conditions. Consider features like backup cameras and blind spot warnings for city driving, or choose all-wheel drive if you plan to explore upstate areas during winter months. Look for vehicles with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to help with navigation through Manhattan's complex street grid, and consider pet-friendly options if you're traveling with furry companions to the city's many dog parks.
A car rental in New York provides freedom to explore beyond Manhattan's subway reach, including scenic areas of New York State and neighboring New Jersey. Having your own vehicle allows convenient access to destinations like Long Island beaches, Central Park area parking, and White Plains shopping districts. Car rental offers flexibility for day trips from NYC to Buffalo or other upstate locations without relying on public transportation schedules.
Gas stations are abundant throughout New York City, particularly in Queens, Brooklyn, and near major highways connecting to New Jersey. Long Island and upstate New York areas maintain regular gas station intervals along main roads and near shopping centers.
Manhattan offers numerous parking garages near Times Square, Central Park, and major business districts, though rates vary significantly by location. Newark and other New Jersey locations near New York offer park-and-ride facilities for those exploring the Big Apple by car.
Morning rush hours in New York typically run from 7-9 AM, while evening congestion peaks between 5-7 PM throughout Manhattan and major bridges to New Jersey. Consider alternative routes through Queens or Brooklyn to avoid Manhattan's gridlock during busy periods. GPS navigation apps provide real-time traffic updates for New York State highways and city streets to help plan your route.
Compact cars excel in New York City's tight parking spaces and narrow Manhattan streets, making urban navigation more manageable. SUVs provide comfort for longer trips to upstate New York or New Jersey while offering better visibility in heavy traffic. Consider your specific needs: city exploration favors smaller vehicles, while family trips to Long Island or Buffalo benefit from larger car options.
The Hudson River Valley offers beautiful drives north from New York City through charming towns and historic sites in New York State.
